Right so, slightly confused here. In your post it kind of looked like you said that both the domes had collapsed. I may have got something mixed up so if possible I would like to get some clarification.

Also Lux was already some distance from the second dome in my last post. I avoided posting as him again because Expolar asked that we pause the entire thing, but by this point in the timeline he probably would have gotten even further and put several buildings between him and the smaller dome.

Not to get away from it, but Lux believes that there are enough competent people over there to deal with it and would be going back to hunting their original targets. Chances are good that they are not wandering around near the sort of large collection of mages if their goal is to draw things out.

Well if he needed to dig he could combine all of his blades into a giant drill and make it spin rapidly, however if there's already a hole he can get out through it pretty darn quickly

Drill blades or not its going to take several minutes to get through what amounts to several feet of battleship armor plating.
Things get nasty when physics get involved. Ask any of the other members of our soon-to-be-guild.
@Prince of Seraphs

I'd be glad to help. Honestly it seems like a pretty simple spell. The mage creates a giant pillar of fire shaped gollem, gives it a target and then pours all of his magic into the power source. The amount of power the mage has determines the size of the pillar, the speed it travels and how long it lasts.

Of course you need a certain level of magic just to form a limited version of the spell, which I believe was Caits problem. Your level one mage had just pulled off a level fifty move.
@Prince of Seraphs

Fusion is fusion, unless you want everybody nearby to spontaneously combust or die of radiation poisoning I suggest you go for something simpler.

I personally suggest something like a gollem spell. A magical construct with enough intelligence for a basic task and an internal battery style power source.
@Silvan HavenLuckily, we've a weakening in the structure thanks to Ferrin and this isn't a regular explosion, more like apillar of fire blasting upwards, so I think the heat is the main issue. A big issue for Cody and Robin, really, as I'm sure that Shiro and Manami have their own escape plans. As for Dawn, well . . . Nidhogg has plans for Dawn.

Sure, at first. But unless the roof gets blown off a lot of that stuff is going to be coming back down. And if its a fusion explosion as stated earlier everything remotely flammable is going to start going up as well.

Ferrin's damaged section will help a little, I just hope he knows to get out of the way. Otherwise its going to be like standing in front of a giant shotgun.
Ouch, an explosion of that size in such a confined space is not going to be fun for anybody if the force has nowhere to escape to.
@Crimson Raven

I have not even posted since before you made the holes. Although I do remember there being some question about if Ferrin actually had made a whole in the inner dome. Also due to the fact that you described the outer hole as "large enough for a tall man like Ferrin to pass through," its entirely possible that most people can't see it.

Its a dome that rises some distance above all the buildings in a city where everything is at least two stories tall. A hole big enough for a person to walk through is not exactly what I would call large, even when not comparing it to the size of the dome.
@Natsume Honnaji

Run while you still can.
Since Ferrin headed off to the secondary dome I was going to have Lux go after the original target before Expolar put a pause on everything.

It would be a fun fight but at this point it would be kind of forced. Not to mention pointless.
