I edited the stuff into the post.
It has significant delta-v in order to allow it to reach friendlies in the middle of a mobile space battle.

It has enough armor to survive a hit or two. Putting too much on would reduce it's speed so it's main defense is it's ability to be very hard to hit.

I would imagine that it has a couple interchangeable arms, but the basic package has two magnetic grabber claws, a plasma torch and the 3D printer nozzle.

The 3D Printer can make basic electronics and armor.
So in a bout of music induced madness a certain duo convinced me to join. Have a profile that was written while I was falling sleep.

Name: Jack Thor

Age: 40

Gender: Male

???: N

Skills: A skilled mechanic with surprising abilities at the multitasking and fine control required by his vehicle. Has also become something of master at evasive flight out of necessity.

Appearance:

This guy. Including the hair.

Personality: He once entered the galley of the OSDT shouting if anybody had ordered a large ham...while holding a very large ham from the local supermarket. Needless to say, Jack has something of a larger than life personality. A warm smile that could thaw the chillest of hearts and a protective, fatherly attitude towards his teammates. Has something of a minor obsession with late 20th century America.

History: Although of Norwegian stock, Jack was born and raised on Gerspenritter. As expected of one raised on a corporate colony he has worked for X-Corp in some form or another for most of his life. Starting as a mechanical engineer before showing surprising skill at piloting mecha and being transferred into the test pilot program. In an effort to forge a better life for his wife and ten year old son Jack decided to take advantage of the generous bonus and hazard pay available and volunteered to be a part of the XC|PT squadron. The idea of being able to help humanity as a whole simply sealed the deal for him, even if the OSDT was all but a name in a ledger it was still a group devoted to helping everybody and not just one group.

Alright, thanks. That explains a lot.
Something has been bugging me for a while now. Do users of magitech devices receive some sort of generic boost? At least in the survivability department.

It has been sort of implied thus far but I must have missed it if anything about it was said in the main post.
How is this?

Equipment: The Gungnir system has two parts. The main segment is the rather hefty silver pistol that hangs at Hikaru's side. The majority of the system's functions reside within the gun, however in order for it to work properly a visual display is needed. To allow for ease of use both in and outside of battle a pair of glasses are wirelessly connected to the feed from the main weapon.

Abilities: The Gungnir system is an attempt to recreate the accuracy of the mythical spear by tapping into the same True Wisdom that Odin does. It has several fire modes, Normal, Armor Piercing, Ricochet, Machine Gun, Explosive, Tracking and Net. The amount of mana that each shot uses can be adjusted on the fly through voice commands, although a base level normal shot will use one percent of a full charge. As a Sacrifice Cauldron the weapon takes small iron ingots inserted into the handle and converts them to mana. In addition, it can allow the wearer of it's glasses to see using a limited form of True Wisdom. Due to mana and hardware reasons the wearer is limited to seeing three vision modes at a time.

I know you seem to think that a power that's not actively combat related is rather useless in a combat RPG, but give me the benefit of the doubt.

I've been RPing for years now, both here and offsite. I know what I'm doing.
Just pick a famous Japanese school and replace it with this one.
Beryl Harken-NB-A Basic Infiltration

It was certainly an odd occurrence, maybe one to be looked into later. Right now though Beryl had more important things to deal with. Quick determined steps brought her to door of the warehouse.

She looked at it and the surrounding walls. Sturdy, enough so to using the normal entrance the best option, even if it was a choke point. Stream in hand she opened the door wide.

"My name is Beryl Harken and I'm here to rescue you."
Beryl Harken-VB

A quick scan of the area revealed no other hostiles outside the warehouse as Beryl approached. She had texted the rest of the team a quick status update on her way to Napoli's location and was now behind one of the cars in the parking lot.

First step, remove the obstical between them and the warehouse.

The otter Faunus reached out with her hand and her semblance for the woman before them. People, Human or Faunus were made up of mostly the same stuff. Bones, muscles, lesser tissues...blood.

It was to this last segment of Marissa that Beryl reached out to. Specifically the blood flowing to her brain. The effects would be felt immediately. Within five seconds, more like four, the woman would pass out. Almost before she had a chance to gasp a breath that she only thought would help.

The plan after that called for Beryl to gently puppeteer the woman's body between two parked cars before laying it on the ground. Extremely distasteful actions to be sure, but it would remove her target from the line of fire and remove the main obstical currently blocking their progress forward.
