That's Mr. Busybones to you.
I'll finish it in the morning, and throw up a post on the Ministry if I can.
Yeah, my character and the <15 words describing him XD
Name: Captain Lysander Grey

Alias: Grey

Appearance:

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Personality: Lysander Grey is, as of now, a lawful individual who believes in upholding the law and following standards of moral purity. He has never consumed alcohol, done drugs or been with a women. This is not his being prude, but rather the discipline of a soldier.

Scars/Tattoo's: Has a Legion tattoo on his upper back shoulder. He is also missing an eye.

Powers/Abilities/Skills: Skilled in close-quarters combat, marksmanship and battle strategy. His right eye, which was destroyed in battle, was replaced with a metal relic that allows him to see things and traits that others cannot. Details later.

Weapon(s): Proficient in most melee weapons, and some ranged. Carries a katana, survival knife, and pistol.

Bio:

Lysander Grey was abandoned at birth, discovered outside a priory where he was taken in. He was given clothing, shelter, a childhood and a name. The monks at the priory raised him to be a pious and docile boy, but their best efforts could not shake his energetic and occasionally belligerent self. In his teenage years, his vibrant personality was noticed by a Lieutenant Baron in the Legion, who adopted him and raised him anew, registering him as a soldier in the grand and mighty Legion, an army that fought for law and order. Although the Lieutenant Baron died only a few years later, he left Lysander a small inheritance that paid for his entrance in the prestigious Legion Military Academy.

Lysander graduated from the Military Academy around the age of 18, and his formerly playful self had undergone a transformation into a serious, disciplined officer. Following graduation, Lysander embarked on a campaign where he proved his worth in battle, earning the rank of Captain. He then fought in several more campaigns, gaining renown and notoriety as a warrior and losing his right eye in the process.

As a reward for his service, Lysander was put up for the position of General, where he could use his experience to command entire regiments of troops. However, along the course of his election campaign, Lysander was thrust into the politics of Legion command, where he found corruption and dishonesty. In an unprecedented move, Lysander revealed the scandal to the public, and was discharged from the Legion and cast onto the street. This is where we find him now.
As they trudged through the thick growth of the jungle, Phineas noted that Eliza seemed to grow more and more weary. When at last the river's roar could be heard up ahead, he put his hand on her shoulder. It was clear to him that either a strong sense of will and necessity or a hint of pride would not allow Eliza to rest.
"Hold up, it's okay..." Phineas said, stopping and taking several deep breaths. "You'll be useless if you collapse before we get there. Take a rest, we've got time." He set down his rucksack and breathed a sigh, stretching his back and shoulders. "Stay here and rest, I'm going to take a look ahead."
The patch of foliage the two were hiding in was only a few yards away from the river. Phineas pushed aside several tall ferns and shrubs and made his way to the shore. The river had no sand lining it, but was filled with round stones, smoothed by the current. In actuality, the river was rather shallow, and only a few yards across. Bending down to feel it, Phineas found that the water was ice cold, being mostly runoff from snow on the mountain. He shook his hands dry and shivered, standing back up.
Phineas nodded, considering the plan. It was a good idea to follow the river to the campsite, because although he wasn't particularly worried that the soldiers would be able to smell them, the river would take them past the camp and its rushing waters would block out the noise of their movements.
"We'll have to play it by hand, but the idea sounds good to me. However, I don't feel comfortable with you going for the oil. You're still injured. I think we should get to the campsite and get the lay of the land before deciding what to do."
Although he sounded unsure, Phineas had already began to form contingency plans for the possible outcomes of the movement. He holstered the pistol and slung his pack over his shoulder, gesturing to the cave entrance. "Lead the way."
Phineas looked up, slightly startled by Eliza's voice even though he'd watched her get up. He rose to his feet, the muscles in his joints cracking from having slept on a hard surface. He looked down to see that the pistol had never left his hand. Most handguns in England were revolvers; that was the style. Phineas, however, had acquired a military issue pistol during his previous career, which had nine shots in the clip, one in the chamber. He pulled the clip out of the handle and inspected it; he had only six bullets left. He slid the clip back into position and sighed.
"If we move," Phineas said, "We'll have to do it quietly. I've only got six shots left so we can't risk a frontal confrontation. Any ideas?"
Possibly interested :) Hit me up with a PM when this thing gets off the ground!
And ignore my unicorn Nevermind. It's been taken care of.
Phineas smiled and let his eyes draw to a close, Eliza's warm body comforting him in the darkness of the cave. He listened to distant droplets of water striking a pool, and slowly fell asleep.
When Phineas awoke, he was at first utterly confused at his lack of vision, and the cold air surrounding him. But within a moment, he recovered his senses and remembered the situation with a sigh. He reached down and found Eliza still nestled close to him, and he decided to let her rest, although his stirrings had no doubt troubled her sleep.
(Not a problem! :D)
Phineas glanced at her, regarding her comment with an light air.
"Nonsense. You've been my partner for less than a week and already you've saved me more times than I can remember. I need you just the same."
He lay back, resting his arms under his head and closing his eyes. The area of the cave they were in had warmed up simply due to the two warm bodies now sharing the space, and a fire seemed unnecessary. Hidden here, it was likely they could get some rest in peace.
He smiled. "Not to mention you're easy on the eyes."
Phineas considered her idea ponderously, looking at the dark ceiling in thought.
"Two soldiers.... yeah, that sounds about right." he said, "But there were three more men, the leaders. I'm not sure where they went. There's two ways out of this, then. Either we take out those guards and steal their hovership, which would be tricky at best, or we sneak down to the beach and grab the oil, then try to make a run for it in Joseph's hovership. Neither of these are preferable, but we're running out of options quick and time quicker. What do you think?" he asked. He retained his firm grip on the pistol, clutching it like a lifeline.
