♦ Name: Annabelle Laplace

♦ Appearance: Gangly, awkward, frizzy-haired, wearing braces she has to audibly talk around. In costume she's covered head to toe in historically accurate -if somewhat shoddy- plate armor she made as part of a high school crafting project, gussied up to stand out and impress.

Her father is a doctor, her mother stays at home. Both of them expect her to try and follow in her footsteps, her father assuming she'll fail. Has some pretty serious social anxiety that mostly flares up in front of strangers and especially while doing public speaking that can often cause her to stutter on top of her braces-induced lisp. Her primarily social outlet is her group of other nerd friends she larps and plays dnd with as well as the broader historical reenactment community in the area. Relatively well to do, she and her family live in a nice neighborhood since her dad is a doctor.

♦ Motivation: Annabelle is determined to forge her own path as a heroine and takes herself utterly seriously in this mission. It's part altruism, part restlessness, part need to prove herself to a world that always dismisses her.

♦ Skills: Has some basic martial arts training, mostly HEMA. Good at organizing people and crafting things, only watches the good animes. Does well in school but doesn't really have a passion for it.

♦ Mechanics: Banneret has the ability to extend small non-living objects she's touching along one dimension via warping space, up to a maximum range of 360 feet. The extension starts at a leisurely walking pace and gradually accelerates to highway speeds before reaching the end of its range. Extending an object into a solid surface allows Banneret to propel herself away from it, though the extension is manton limited so that she can't stab with any more force than her arms provide even when extending directly into people. Objects affected by her power have their durability enhanced significantly while extended, and she can choose which parts of the object to extend and how much so long as they're all along the same dimension.
