Hunter’s Name: Jericho “Seaward Bard” Kirkhammer
Age: 25
Appearance:
Weapon of choice:
Trident
Twin Flintlock Pistols, which he calls “The Girls/Twins/Ladies” (but will use any firearm he can get a hold of.)
Armor of choice:
Leather
Strengths/Abilities:
* Charisma- Whether it be a simple song, or a tale as old as time, Jericho is a master of charm and words, and can make his allies feel like the most power men (or women) in the world, or make his enemies feel like they are worthless.
* Instrument Playing- Jericho can play a variety of different instruments, his favorite being the lute.
* Sea Survival- Jericho is happiest when he is on a ship, feeling the waves below him. He can climb up to the crow’s nest, or dive down into the sea with little issue.
* Ocean Knowledge- That fish you just caught, is it dangerous to eat? What’s the easiest way to find land, if you can’t see it? What is that shadow looming down in the depths? If you don’t know, just ask Jericho.
Weaknesses/Hindrances:
* Cooking- Jericho never learned how to properly cook, as he had always been on a ship with its own cook. He can cook something if he is camping, but it might not be safe to eat.
* “Royal” Settings- Jericho worked on ships for many years, where the men were rude, and the women were lewd. Because of this, Jericho is horrible to have at more “civilized” settings.
* Dolls- Jericho is terrified of dolls. He does not like being near them, and if the dolls get too close to him, his main focus will be on destroying said doll.
* Clumsy Fighter- As stated above, Jericho is a hell of a talker. He prefers words over actions, because he sucks in a fight. He has hardly any training, and will use any dirty tactics he can think of, which usually ends badly for him.
Personality: Jericho is a laidback charmer. He tends to make smartass comments, or flirty remarks, in even the most dire of situations. Jericho is very loyal to those he considerers as a friend, and will not willingly betray them.
History: Jericho was born in a small little fishing village by the sea, but he doesn’t like to say which one. “People like a good mystery.” He would say to anyone that ask.
At the age of sixteen, Jericho left his home and moved to Rothenburg, where he started to work as a deckhand, and working his way up. At eighteen he was working on the fishing crew, cannons, and all the other fun jobs. By the age of twenty, he was regularly working as a first-mate on different ships. However, he has yet to make enough money, or fame, to become a captain of his own crew.
Over the years, thanks to where he lived and where he has worked, Jericho has learned to respect to sea, and how to survive it more dangerous waves. At the age of twenty-three, Jericho left the fishing game after a Captain told him to try his luck at learning to be a bard.
“You’re a hell of a talker. Might as well get paid for it.” The Captain told him.
So, for two years, Jericho has been staying on land, working for an old bard in exchange for lessons. After the two years, the old bard gave Jericho his lute, and Jericho became the “Seaward Bard”.
Now, at the age of twenty-five, and being a bard for all of a week, Jericho found a note for a high-paying guild. What better way to return to the sea than as a man with enough money and fame to be a captain? Now, he must make the hardest decision of his life.
What to name his ship?
