Finally caught up on Rick and Morty. Pretty good shit. It's not every day a cartoon reminds me of my existential crisis.

The Boarder Patrol in Vermont has more important matters than illegal Mexicans. They have to stop the White Walkers.

Hey guys! Sorry for the brief radio silence, but I don't have very good news. I'm currently moving into an apartment, so I will not have conventional acess to internet until Sunday, comcast be willing.
BUT MY FIRST POST SHALL MAKE YOUR EYEBALLS BLEED AWESOME!!!!
@Skepic Yeah, lol. When I read your sheet, I realized how we are essentially the absolute polar opposites in nearly every single way (Except economics, we both seem to be capitalist-orientated), and yeah, our military forces are polar opposite as well and would result in a stalemate... Forever...
I can see it now...
"Surface you damn squid! Let me ram my 38cm shell down your throat!"
"Fuck off bird! Why don't you come down here and see how much flapping those wings do for you?"
Yeah, so.... I guess @Serpentine88's nation and mine are literally destined to be enemies. I mean, god damn. Their religion practically vilifies everything the Valkyerians stand for. I mean, sure, their are plenty of nations that are automatically despised in the eyes of Avalia, but this Sacred Empire is literally the anti-Avalia. Like, my god... there will be war the moment one of us even sneezes at each other.
Admittely, it will be the most awkward, go nowhere war, as neither of us could really touch each other... but dayum son, this definitely stirred things up.
Bio: "They set the world on fire. It wasn't a war anymore; it was a remaking. Some losses are inevitable. Some... unthinkable. Now they've built a new world. Armies of aluminum and thunder. They want to bring back the old world things. Green yards, movie theaters, soft beds... These things, none of it for me. I move by roaring engines, among warriors. We come from the night."
The situation in Central Europe is terrible. When the world began throwing its doomsday weapons around, countries like Germany were inevitably caught in between it all. And as the world collapsed, the survivors of the once great nation began to fight bitterly for the last scraps of land that weren't completely obliterated. Of course, this might not sound new, as this may apply to many places of the broken world, but Germany was a whole different ball game. The fighting was even fiercer, more ruthless, as resources were even more so scarce. Ava was born into a life of utter, never ending, violence.
Her family lived within a militaristic state calling itself Karlsland. It held a sizable chunk of the northern part of Germany, and being one of the few territories in the region with access to the ocean, it found itself constantly under attack. Ava was drafted the moment she turned fifteen into the Imperial Karlslandic Air Force. They had decent aircraft, but inexperience prevailed through the ranks due to drafting such young pilots. Her homeland was in a particularly bad spot too, as a much larger, unified force was attacking Karlsland, an enemy that had conquered over a hundred others. Thus, with little to no combat experience, bare minimal training, and mediocre aircraft, Ava as well as many others of her generation, were thrown into the face of the bomber raids.
Ava discovered something that day, something about herself. As the burning wrecks of both friend and enemy plunged down towards the earth around her, she felt no fear. In fact, she suddenly realized as she let loose a burst of cannon fire that she was smiling. That day, Ava was the sole survivor of her squadron. Thanks to this, she was promoted fairly quickly and became part of a crack flying squadron... arguably the only fighter squadron Karlsland had that actually had skilled airmen. They specialized in night fighting, ambush tactics, something that Ava soon mastered and loved. She was given the latest and greatest her country could offer, an Me262 HGIII. Some of her famous moves her beloved aircraft would involve shutting off her engines and gliding towards her enemies at night. This way, the only time they knew of her presence, was the moment her tracers were burning their way through the aircraft. This gave Ava the fitting title, "The Night Witch".
Despite both her skills and many others, Karlsland began to fall. In one, final end all air battle, Ava flew with her squadron to combat. As they broke cloud cover, the sky ahead was utterly filled to the brim with enemy aircraft of all sizes. They were outnumbered.... They were outgunned..... For the first time, Ava was not smiling while she flew. She felt it... Something that had plagued her squad mates before.
Fear.
And that was it. Ava committed the worst crime that any respectful member of any squadron could do....
She abandoned them.
Months after, her homeland burned and her own literal home destroyed, she has wandered aimlessly. Occasionally, she would appear out of the blue, aiding some unfortunate settlement with a bandit problem. No one knew of her abandonment, as her squadron along with the rest of the Karlsland Air Force was obliterated in that battle, but she could feel them haunting her.
Perhaps that's why she answered the call. Perhaps, this endevour to the Neon Haven will be her chance for redemption.
Name: The Me262 HGIII "Nachtfeuer" Description: This high performance jet is a fast and nimble aircraft. With its swept back wings and very streamlined design, it performs at its best at high speeds at equally high altitudes. This version is a night fighter variant, painted with a non-reflective coat of black paint and equipped with short range radar for finding enemies in the night. Of course, it is usually accompanied by a Scanner type aircraft to guide it in, with the built in radar used for homing in on the target once it's close. It suffers at low altitude's and handles poorly at low speeds. However, thanks to its very efficient design, it is a great glider and climbs quite well. Plane Type: Early Fighter Jet Aircraft Weapons Descriptions: -Four 30mm autocannons- -Two hard points for air to air missiles- Weaknesses: This is a high performance jet fighter, meaning that its designed for high speed engagements. At low speeds, the handling is drastically reduced to a sluggish, slow response, making it vulnerable to more maneuverable aircraft. Also, its engines are designed to perform at high altitudes, so engine performance is also greatly reduced at lower altitudes. Past Encounter: Ava fell in love with this aircraft on her first mission with it. It was a night raid over what used to be called Hamburg. It was a new moon that night, thus the enemy thought they could use the pitch black to their advantage. Her squadron was dispatched to intercept incoming bombers. Ava noted that the engines could be ignited near instantly once she got around 20,000 feet or so, thus she cruised at high altitude, waiting for the signal from the Scanner of the group. Her radar suddenly pinged, indicating the enemy was 5,000 feet below her. Rolling her aircraft over, she saw the faint blue glow of the engine exhausts coming from the enemies below her. Cutting her engines, she began to dive down on her enemy, picking up speed in complete silence. She switched from the Scanner's long range radar feed to her own close range one. It only took one or two hits from the HE 30mm shells to take off the wings of two of the bombers. The enemy gunners fired wildly into the night, attempting to hit this unseen attacker. She quietly pulled up, still retaining energy, climbed as far as she could before lighting her engines again. They flared to life, rocketing her back up into the skies.
