Are we ever gonna get the chance to become quinckes? :D
Anyone else read :re 20 today and cried?
T^T Tokyo Ghoul √A ep 20 .... so sad...
Looks like you'll be crying more in the next few episodes.
Targa Household
As the kagune appeared from behind the ghoul, Luca quickly activated his quinque. The weapon flung into his hand from the briefcase as the ghoul shot her projectiles. He dashed to the side, making his way away from the trajectory of the attack. He shot a glance over at his partner who was almost trying to warn their attacker. After hearing Yuuma tell him to watch his back, Luca locked his gaze on the ghouls. Before he could object, Luca saw Yuuma charge in. "Hey! Don't rush in on your own!" Clicking his tongue, the young investigator followed after he saw Yuuma swing his quinque, making his way towards the ukaku to make sure she wouldn't go after Yuuma along with the other ghoul, wary of any attack that may come his way like the one he'd witnessed but a few minutes earlier.

"Alright," Luca said, following Yuuma outside. It was a start. They just needed to wait to get the results of the tests before proceeding with their investigation. A good night's rest would make time go faster. As he was walking away from the door, he stopped several meters away and turned around. "Is there gonna be anyone here tonight?" the boy asked, looking unsettled. "Y'know how the culprit comes back to the scene of the crime? Maybe we should--" His eye caught the glimpse of a silhouette up high on a building near the house. Pitter patter on the rooftops... Luca kept staring, trying to distinguish the features of the figure.
Alright, I guess I'll see myself out then.
I think it's still open O_O I doubt you need someone to say you can join to make a CS xP
I have no idea what's going on in this page.
EDIT: I'll try and post soon :)
Speaking of manga readers, if one is caught up with the anime, where should they start the manga? is there any hidden chapters or a set page around the time the anime is?
From the beginning :| /A is different from the manga and the first season actually skipped a lot of things.
District 8 Rooftops
A collab between Sketcher and Shiho
A fully cloaked and hooded figure raced on the rooftops, with an ominously empty mask on his face, the only two lines ending with the invisible image of a smile above the chin. Before long, the grinning ghoul took note of some commotion going on down below. He was quite tempted to interfere with some rampant ghoul causing trouble, but he didn't want to lose the girl. He noticed a figure whose mask stood out quite a bit. With his full speed, he approached her, the cloak fluttering behind him. Izumi slowly rose from her laying position, and she shook her head a bit violently. It pissed her off a bit that that guy was doing whatever and disturbing others' nights. Well, whatever. She had lost her prey and now had to search for another one. She turned around, only to see a cloaked figure menacingly approaching her, or at least that's what she thought of it. "Wha! Who the hell are you!?" Izumi shouted at the cloaked figure, her kagune creeping out from behind her back to help her protect herself. The ghoul slowed down as he got near, not revealing his kagune nor any intent to attack. His hand pushed out from under the cloak and grabbed the mask, pushing it back a bit further. "You didn't pay," said the voice quite simply. "I'd like it if you just did so now." Though it was somewhat altered by the mask, the voice belonged to the cook at Meat, Meat, MEAT! without a doubt. Izumi couldn't believe it. The guy actually ran after her with all his might. She sighed with exasperation. "Are you... Are you for real? I mean, there are way more important things, like the fact that I am actually searching to re-supply you, than having to worry about some paytab! Why do I always attract the weird ones?" Izumi said, sounding really tired, if a bit accustomed to having to deal with this kind of person. "Wait a bit." Izumi then started searching through her diminute cleavage, until she got a little coinpurse out of it, and then, she threw it at the guy. "Grab what you need from there, then throw it back at me. Though, if there's a single coin missing aside from what I need to pay, I'll cut them off you know?" The boy snatched the purse out of the air, rolling his eyes behind his mask. He counted the coins for the meat and the coffee and pulled it out before tossing it back. "Scary," he muttered half mockingly before turning his head to where the mounted ghoul was. "We have enough in our supply, you know," he growled. "Nobody has to go on a hunting spree and just kill random people to get meat." "Oh..." Izumi slowly took her mask off, to look better at the guy. Her eyes were filled with excitement and seemed almost like those of a rabid animal. "But I do, and I'll tell you this, pretty boy. Either you stop being such a partypopper, or I'm going to start tonight's hunt with you!" He remained unmoved. I guess it could work... "Hmph... Fine," he said, walking towards the general area she was at. "This isn't the place to do it though. Looks like that guy's already going at it." He pitied the people below quite a bit, but he didn't want to get involved if the doves were coming. "There's a small... 'group' nearby. A place where some people gather quite often," he said. "An abundance of nice meat. And I really doubt that any doves will actually come looking for who killed them." "What are you, some kind of hero of justice? This is the first time I've heard of a ghoul who'd actually do something that good for society." Izumi said, approaching the edge of the roof, while putting her mask on again. "But as long as I have a good hunt, I don't really care. Now, shall we go?" Izumi then jumped off the building, just barely making her fall non-lethal after she jammed her kagune onto the side of the building to slow down her fall. "Hurry it up! We don't have all night!" Izumi smiled at him. Well, at the very least, she had found herself someone she could hunt with. The boy followed her, jumping across the alley and onto the other building, stepping on each wall once before jumping back to the other. He swiftly made it to the bottom, skidding to a halt. "You don't have to be human to try to be a good person," he said, annoyed by her comment. Her train of thought seemed quite similar to that of any dove's. He made his way out of the alley and moved quickly, but only as quickly as her. "Yeah, yeah... Why do you want to help the shop, anyway?" "I'm not actually looking to help you, you know? I'm just good friends with the owner. He knows I go overboard sometimes and haves me bring in what I can't eat for you guys. It never hurts to be overly supplied, right?" Izumi let out a cheery laugh, while she ran behind the guy, which, by the way, she hadn't heard his name until now. "So, what's your name, pretty boy? I might as well get to know who you are if we'll be hunting tonight's dinner together." It also came to her mind that she didn't really tell him her name, so she'd do just so. "I am Izumi, by the way. Or Hunter Spider, as doves like to call me. Use whichever suits you best." "Ed," he answered as briefly as possible. He wasn't looking to make a new friend, really. "It's right around here," he said as they reached a small, more vacant lot with nothing but a bit of fire in the middle. Edward sniffed the air as he got the mixed scent of humans and ghouls in the group sitting around the fire, laughing about their victorious battles of the day. His eyes glew as he walked onto the dirt. "Here we are," he said. Izumi didn't answer. She merely started laughing. It was the perfect prey, just sitting there, unsuspecting of what would fall upon them. Poor guys, somewhere inside her, Izumi really pitied them. Her eyes, behind her mask, quickly started turning black. "Itadakimasu!" Izumi shouted once again, loud enough to alert more than one of them. She rushed to where they were, and then started her dance of death, the two strands of her kagune moving around to do her binding. She pierced the stomach of one, then the throat of another, and she was smiling all the while. "This is fun! Fun! So many easy preys in one place... I might get addicted to it." Izumi said, frantically while she continued on rampaging like a wild animal. Edward followed suit, though he didn't let out his kagune. With his now tilted mask, he rushed past a few of them, biting off meat from their fragile necks as he passed. Though he wouldn't admit it, he had a smile on. He enjoyed the rush, but who didn't? Blood everywhere, flesh tearing apart... He moved from man to man with speed, his mouth covered in the crimson water. Soon enough, the group had all collapsed, either killed by Izumi's kagune or Edward's hunger. He moved towards one of them who had his eyes black and red. He repeated what the girl had said before starting the main course. Izumi looked through the corner of her eye at the guy. He was pretty into it now that they were there, hard to imagine he was so against her killing people a while ago. When he approached another guy and repeated what she had said before, Izumi knew it was her chance. She approached the guy from behind, lifted her kagune and with one swift movement, she brought it won on him and the other ghoul in the ground, hoping to pierce them both through the stomach. "I told you, right? Continue being a partypooper and you'll be come part of the hunt." The boy felt the kagune go through him, coughing. With all of his might, he dashed forward before the kagune could lock him in. The wound slowly started to regenerate as he looked over at the girl with the dull eyes he had before. He'd snapped out of the frenzy he was in before. "Haaa... So you really are the worst kind of person," he said, chuckling, correcting his mask once more. It fucking hurts...! A bulge appeared over his back and his kagune appeared in its crystalized form, two large sword shaped wings spreading out while four more noticable kagune flung out. "You want to pick a fight, prick!?" "Actually, no. I don't want to pick a fight. I want to start the hunt!" Izumi threw herself at Edward, bringing her kagune forward with her own body. She brought both pairs of legs down upon her opponent. "You are fast, I'll give you that. but irritating as hell too! Don't think you can get away with insulting Izumi-sama like that, boy!" Izumi shouted at him. "Egomaniac," the boy muttered as he took a large leap back and tapped off the ground to dodge, creating a storm of projectiles to be thrown at her in the meantime. If he hadn't just eaten, there was no question that the blow he'd taken would have taken hours to heal. Luck was his thing, apparently. "Only a megalomaniac call herself 'sama'!" Izumi took the full brunt of Edward's attack on her back, taking just a few of his projectiles on her kagune. "Tsk. You damned rat! Stop squirming around, will ya?! I can't finish you off!" Izumi took one of the projectiles from her back and took it out, making some of her blood sip from her wound. Izumi looked at how Edward moved, before finally being able to predict if even for a bit his trajectory. She took her kagune back to gain momentum and then brought it forward full force against Edward, hoping to throw him against a wall or otherwise. "I don't care what you call me, as long as I can see you dead!" Edward's kagune took a more liquid form and reached around him to shield him from a direct hit, but he felt the impact more than he needed when he crashed into one of the buildings. He got up, coughing among the dust. His kagune grew as he grew angrier, the spikes becoming more evident. He wasn't really in great shape, though. With a wise decision, he decided to creep out of the back window and into an alley. Even if she did find him, in a closed place like this... "Running away now!? It's no use! When I find you, I'll tear you apart and then-!" Before she got more excited, her phone started ringing. She searched for it in her cleavage, yes, again, and found it after a while. She looked at the screen and saw the letters 'CK' in it. She clicked her tongue. She stored it away again. "You got lucky, boy. Duty calls. Next time won't be as easy, though. Make sure you either never appear in front of me again, or that if you do appear, then at least have a written apology ready. Ciao!" Izumi said, before taking a backflip and running away from the place, leaving Edward alone. "Next time I'll be watching my back, stupid bitch," the boy muttered as he held onto his wound. It finally shut tight. He looked over to the edge of the alley, waiting to make sure she was gone before retracting his kagune. Next time, he was definitely going to be more than ready. This wasn't how this was going to end.
Leaving CCG HQ
Luca's smile grew as he got the signal from Yuuma that they had gotten the green light. "We're off 'en, hm?" He got to his feet with a stupid grin on his face. A nice mystery was always a good way to end the day. Especially one as unhindered as this one. There would be no trickery; all would be put in front of them as they were on the same night!
Targa Household
"Strange... Only one of them was actually eaten," he said, walking over to the woman lacking a lot of flesh and some limbs and kneeling beside her to take a closer look, though it didn't give him much more information. He turned his head to Yuuma. "Well... Completely, I mean." The boy cleared his throat as he got back to his feet. "We should do an RC count on their blood, to make sure who's what. We should take a look around the apartment too. If we've got any luck, there'll be more than just what we see in this room." It still bothered him. Sure, one of the victims was torn apart and eaten but the body wasn't fully devoured, not to mention the man who was simply killed. And the mystery victim... Pondering on the events that might've unfolded, Luca found himself looking through the rooms. At the third door he opened, he came to a sight for sore eyes. Blood. It wasn't too much but there was some blood and clothes on the shower's floor. "Yuuma! I think I might've found something!" Now this was nice. The blood had probably sunk into the clothes. From them, they could even see what kind of a person they belonged to. Height, size, and maybe gender... There might've been more somewhere in the house, if they were lucky. Once we do a sweep in here, we might get some DNA. This looks like it's gonna be fun...
