ok to test i just made a new account on my laptop and it doesn't seem to be nuked so i think maybe the issue is directly linked to my desktop computer's ip address. i don't have access to it rn to stress test though
@nodogs Can you be more specific about what you are running into?
Some possibilities I can think of:
- Auto-nuking is something that happens to only brand new accounts, and iirc it is based on IP address, so using a VPN or posting from Ukraine can trigger it.
- The /discord link is buggy since Discord changed their system within the past year. It's not trying to keep you out, it's just not working very well.
- The Guild is served behind a service called Cloudflare which does sometimes force you to fill out a captcha. I don't think I have that feature turned on, but I'd like to know which of these you might be referring to.
Oh, just read your previous post. I wrote the same exact thing as you.
I'm going to show historical usernames on the user profile. It's necessary for all sorts of reasons (moderation, community).
For example, I had no idea that @nodogs was a Guild legend until I clicked [@Grimhildr] in some ancient thread.
Edit: Alright, this change is now live.

Ah, but the issue is when people with alternate themes start doing stuff with coloured text or images lacking transparency. Everyone starts working from opposite baselines etc.
