If I told you what I was Would you turn your back on me And if I seem dangerous Would you be scared I get the feeling just because Everything I touch isn't dark enough If this problem lies in me
I'm only a man with a candle to guide me I'm taking a stand to escape what's inside me A monster, a monster I've turned into a monster A monster, a monster And it keeps getting stronger
Well I met an old man dying on a train No more destination no more pain Well he said one thing before I graduate Never let your fear decide your fate
I say ya kill your heroes and fly fly baby don't cry No need to worry 'cause everybody will die Every day we just go go baby don't go Don't you worry we love you more than you know
Unfortunately for Atone, the flying creatures were far more nimble when they weren't attached to a victim. The stirge had evaded Atone's blade and was now ready to latch on for another meal. However, no sooner had Atone's blade miss its mark did an arrow strike the stirge with a surprising amount of force, killing it instantly.
Now that the path was clear Atone rushed to the fallen druid and dropped to his knees by his side. Atone placed one hand gently upon Baldrick's chest and the other on his abdomen. His hands began emitting a faint glow as he channeled what little divine energy the gods allotted to him into the dying man to bring him back from the brink of death.
"It is not your time," Atone whispered.
Atone moves to G6 and uses Lay on Hands to heal Baldrick for 5 hp.
