Hello! I'm Sky (not my real name, but close enough). I'm a woman in my mid-twenties, a happy wife, and a loving dog mom. I used to do a lot of this roleplaying stuff a long time ago, and I figured I'd come back and give it a shot and see if I still got "it", so to speak. Before I go any further though, there are of course a few rules and guidelines I'd like to lay out. They're mostly for your benefit and mine, so we don't start a story and end up having to trash it due to something that could've been stated beforehand. So:
+ Please be 18+, ideally 21+. I don't tend to censor myself, so I'd prefer to write with someone closer to my own age.
+ Please have a good grasp of grammar, punctuation, and spelling. My ideal partner writes in a descriptive and engaging manner, and is able to bring a story to life in my head. I always endeavor to do the same. Hence, I'd like partners who consider themselves "literate/advanced", if we have to use labels.
+ Posts should be at least two large paragraphs in length. I understand writer's block, so I'm not going to be an ass about this rule. It's really the quality of the writing that matters and not so much the word count.
+ I write MxF romantic pairings, but I don't much care if I'm playing M or F. Hence, I'm willing to abide by my partner's preference.
+ Romance. Love it in a story. Instamance, not so much. Character development is a central aspect of all my stories, as is plot. Stagnancy is incredibly boring.
+ I don't really care for face claims, but I will use a photograph/realistic illustration if you enjoy them. I will never use cartoons or anime to represent my characters. I also don't do CSes; I'd rather reveal aspects of my character through story progression, and appearance through description.
+ I try to be online every day, but because of my work schedule this is sometimes not possible. However, I will do my best to let you know if life is making sending a response difficult. Please try to do me the same kindness.
+ I will only write through PMs, due to content. I usually have one PM for OOC discussion and another for the IC. I tend to enjoy plotting as we go along rather than laying everything out before we start, but that's only because I'm always excited to get into a new story. Also, I don't roleplay offsite (for now).
