Not my own words, but: "Enjoy memes and have a good time online, but develop a solid sense of self-worth that is rooted in a reality that doesn't disappear when the battery charge is empty."

@RomeroThrow 'im with the other sheets - nice work!
As in Gold's list, Kothar, Roshad and Mennon are the only civs with what we'd probably identify as a captial proper.

Roshad doesn't have a central government, as each city is govered by the Patron/Matron/Thinker trio, but there ought to be one 'de facto' city that kicks around more weight than the others. This one, as Gold stated, may act as the main councilhouse for the Thinkers and have the grandest archives and the most renouwned institutions. It may very well be the first of Roshad's cities.

Kothar and Mennon's captials are more traditional, in that they are homes of each nation's king/ruler. These are the jewels of both nations, and it is apparent from their opulence. Both are highly forified, large cities, with vast populations.

We can pull the names out of our asses if need be.

Aww. I'll keep this subbed.

Question: how 'gamey' do you expect posts in the IC to be? By that, I mean is it necessary to reference specific abilities/skills/in-game mechanics verbatim, or is it cool just to stick to free-form as normal?
@Inkarnate
After a look at the sheet so far, we feel your char fits better as a Mennonite. The picture you used - lamellar, fur hat/coat, Mongol/steppe-esque is much more evocative of Mennonite culture than Silesian.

This isn't a criticism, but an observation/suggestion. Like Dr Cruiser, we're more than willing to let you play the char you want. Also, have you read the recently updated culture sections in the OP? The changes may inspire alterations to your work, or not. Keep up the progress!
More sheets!
@Crimson RavenGot a WIP?
<Snipped quote by Romero>

I'm working on a character like that first idea. :/

Let's see it!
That was quick! The character that first sprang to mind was either a young Roshad academic who'd taken to adventuring to feed his curiosity, of a grizzled, disgraced kestaphos who's taken to hunting the monsters that killed his family. Don't think either of them particularly step on anyone else's toes?

I'll add this to the OP in a sec, but here's what's going down at the start of the RP: roleplayerguild.com/posts/4713048

I think your concepts/character motivations can work with the plot. Your Roshad academic could be aware of the implications the sorcerer has on the setting, and your kestaphos has plenty of opportunity to slay monsters.
@Dr Catfish

Gold and I are willing to accept your character, although there are a couple points we feel we should make:

Without going too deep into the nuances of martial arts/fighting, we expect you to play your character realistically. A spear in each hand is going to lack any true defensive capability, nor will one-handed thrusts have the same penetrative capabilities of a two-handed thrust. In other words, you can play your character as written, but we trust you are aware of the limitations of doing so and are expected to write accordingly. This is in the interest of allowing you to play how you wish, in the framework of the setting.

We appreciate you going back and making revisions and the amount of detail in your sheet. Feel free to put your CS in the Character tab.
Mennon and Silesia have been updated in the OP!!!!
