Name: Sven the Jolly(Sven Mirdryke)

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Appearance: http://i1244.photobucket.com/albums/gg561/Paxamator/Smile-2.jpg

Profession: Manager ( Rents out service of his golems to perform Various labors.)

Personality: His title "the Jolly" is more an inside joke to the people who know him then a true descriptor. To the majority of Karstberg, Sven the Jolly is a sort of miracle working enigma. Some say he Volunteers several hours a day to many orphanages and homeless shelters throughout the city. Others say that no matter where he is, Sven is always the life of the party. He and his golems have even marched down into the catacombs to clear them of the filth that lives there. Sven is brave, kind, generous, intelligent, the absolute perfect example of a man. The reality of course, is that none of this is true.

Those who know Sven, know him as a quiet, blunt, cranky hermit that could hardly be bothered to leave his shop let alone go marching through the streets. All Sven wants to do is build more and better golems. He even hates that he had to resort to renting them out for money as that opened the floodgates for almost daily interaction with rabble of Karstberg, but he had to have some way to pay his expenses. Long story short, Sven is not your friend, and he would really appreciate you leaving his premises as soon as possible.

Equipment/Weapons: None. Sven prefers to hide behind and command his golems should he ever have to defend himself. Though if pressed he is usually never far from a blacksmith hammer or sword.

Abilities: Golem enchantment, The fact that he consturcts the golems himself has given him some decent skill in Sculpting, blacksmithing, and woodcutting.

Brief Backstory: Sven was born as the youngest child to a family of enchanters. The Mirdrykes were somewhat of a pioneer in the art of constructing and enchanting the submissive "creatures" known as Golems, with young Sven showing the talent of a prodigy in the art. Sven loved nothing more then to build more and more golems and surround himself with a posse of them. Despite the fact they had no wills of their own, Sven considered them his only friends. Which was not far from the truth, as a gang of bulky golems tends to intimidate other children. This left Sven to be unable to develop any real relationships or life experience, which would push him toward his future as a recluse.

As Sven grew older, his parents expected him to follow the same path they did and study and eventually teach at Almagast's Academy. Sven, unnerved at the prospect of having to deal with so many people wanted no part of it. His parents were furious with him, believing he was wasting his exceptional talents sitting at home all day. They told him he had a week to either go to the academy or find another steady line of work, after that they were evicting him from their home.

Sven eventually gave in, and with the help of his golems built a small compound in the market district. It was here that would get into the business of renting and sometimes selling his golems to make ends meet. All the while he toil and tinker to make new ones. It is, at this point, all he knows.
Magic Name: Golem Enchantment

Magic Description: The act of building a body from a ready material(wood, Metal, rock, etc) and then infusing it with magic to bring it to life. Golems are automatons that obey the orders of their creator, but can be made to obey others as well. Golems can be any shape and size so long has one has the materials to make them. A golems speed, strength, and durability are dependent on the size and material it is made from. For instance a small golem made of wood would be fast but fragile. While a horse sized golem made of steel would be able to withstand a cannonball and lift large boulders single handed...If only it were able to move itself more then a few inches a minute.
