Hah, fair enough, that.
All looks good to me. Jobs tend to get finished whenever we finish them, but it should never be longer than 10 days and I'll always have at least a couple days off afterwards, so it should never be a grand issue.

I wasn't quite thinking of playing Asian figures, they just happened to be the two that came to mind off the top of my head. As for who I will play, well, I'll probably have them posted tonight. After I decide whether or not to gender-bend them to help out character demographics.
Quick question before I start working on a character: I don't think it will be a big deal, considering the plate armour I've been seeing, but how strictly if at all are we avoiding anachronism stew here? Mainly in regards to styles of combat that did not exist in the 5th and 6th centuries (Sword and dagger fighting, etc.) considering if we went away with ALL anachronisms then there'd be a slight problem with including knights (8th century) or jousting (high middle ages) at all.

I suppose the question sorta resolved itself as it went on. Anything short of gunpowder era arms/tactics goes I assume?

You may have more luck with interest posting this under casual with high-standard posting rules (So, a high-casual RP) as Slice of Life/School RPs tend to do better with larger crowds and those are harder to come by in the Advanced section, but that of course is your decision.

For all I know within 10 minutes 7 more people will apply to this.
I can always go for a slice of life like this as long as the comedy potential is golden (As opposed to way too much teen wangst for DRAAAAAMMMAAAAA) and the writing level is high (Both of these look to be fine, judging by this post).

Interest obtained.

So a few questions here before I toss my hat in the ring.

- You mentioned a reasonable time limit for posting, but also that players could move past you after X days. I work a job where most of the time I'm out for 10 days on the road, working 12+ hour days, so it's likely 10-day stretches without posts will happen often with me. I don't want to keep getting brushed past.

- Are we only allowed more... well known historical figures? I don't mean well known as in only people who did great things, but well known as in knowledge of them is widespread (specifically widespread in the "Western World"). As opposed to more "locally" or "eastern" known heroes. (Say, Admiral Yi from Korea who almost singlehandedly prevented his country from falling to the Japanese, or Uesugi Kenshin from Sengoku Japan, said to be an avatar of Bishamonten, the Buddhist God of War). As a history lover there are tons of people I rarely see referenced or used.

- Uh, due to that last sentence, I may end up making more than one character at some point. If anything about multiple characters was stated I missed it in my reading of the OOC. Is this permitted?
If Muse stays I'll stay, although I'm in a similar situation unfortunately.
If both my characters weren't sorta tied up I'd volunteer. Maybe God-Queen Lizzy is wandering about...
In the meantime: Been playing Fire Emblem Fates. Finished Birthright (hard mode) started Conquest on hard mode.

Heard horror stories about chapter 10, made it my bitch in one try. Kinda disappointed, but still a lot of fun.
