That's true. It is more satisfying if he dies a hero's death. (or the death of a villain that was finally stopped.)

I can sort of relate to grimhildr's view better. "I attack the puny goblin!" GM: "Too bad, you rolled -999,999,999 and stabbed yourself in the eye and died." I imagine that'd suck.
