I've recently started rolplaying again after a lengthy hiatus, and I'm in the mood for a survival roleply. I have a number of potential plot ideas to build off from, so if anything seems interesting to you, shoot me a PM and we can discuss details.
1) A group of high school or college students wake up from a night of partying to discover that they are no longer on Earth. They've been transported over night to an alien world. Unbeknownst to them, their alien kidnappers have dropped them on an untamed planet to observe their behavior as well as their adaptability to discern whether or not humans will prove usable in their schemes. The humans must survive on the planet while also finding clues as to why they've been taken. But will they thrive in their new environment or will they perish far away from their own planet?
2) A virus wipes out 99.9% of humanity. Only a small fraction of the planet's children happen to be immune to the virus and so are able to avoid death. Now they are all that's left. They must band together in the ruins of the world their ancestors built in order to rebuild society and save the human race from extinction.
3) A tribe of early humans must survive in the harsh ice age and face rival tribes, monstrous prehistoric beasts, and the bitter cold while they eke out a place in the primeval world.
4) A village of elves/humans have lived peacefully for years, but when a massive tribe of goblins takes up residence in an abandoned mine nearby, the raids begin and the villagers are forced to defend themselves and find a way to deal with this new threat despite not having any weapons or experiences.
5) After years of war against an invading alien menace, the few surviving humans now dwell in underground bunkers while the aliens search for survivors on the surface to capture for reasons unknown. The survivors must avoid the aliens and also fight them when necessary while scavenging for food and other necessary resources.
These are just some rough ideas. I'm open to other suggestions as well as long as they fit a survival setting.
