(Few hours before)
Eva stood on the Observation deck of the airship heading for Besaid. She would have rather been on the top deck to feel the wind, but the crew wouldn't allow it since they were landing soon. She let out a sigh as she watched the fluffy clouds pass under them. It was so beautiful, she loved flying but it wasn't the same... she wish they were here with her. It just didn't feel the same... it's just boring with out those two idiots. she thought with a smile.
Her smile went away as she regretted asking to go alone these last few months... wanting to experience the world with out influence hoping to find some clues to her past...to who she was. Of course it was more dangerous now with out her "Guardians" but she didn't want them to feel stuck with her. Despite them saying they didn't mind and all that she forced the decision by slipping away on a airship while they slept.
"Idiot..." she called herself. Rubbing her skin to bring some warmth in them as she saw the island come into view, she gripped her staff and turned towards the loading doors to make sure she was the first off. This is where they said they wanted to come to someday. Perhaps she might walk into them some how. She wondered what they would say. Would they be angry? Would they forgive her?
She sighed and straightened her shoulders while slapping her cheeks with both hands. Course they would, not after all they been through together... why would she ever think that of them? She nodded to herself as airship landed and the doors opened. Stepping onto the sand she took in a deep breath of the salty air and warm breeze. No wonder they liked it here. It was a little Paradise. She decided to head straight into town. Perhaps someone would know if they saw them... they were hard to miss.
-----------
After a couple of hours of unsuccessfully finding the two or any hint that they have even been here, she groaned and went to the temple. There she could sit and relax for a bit, perhaps find out some more about Fayths and the Aeons. She had gained much knowledge already, but she felt that it was a key to her past. She stepped the the doors and smiled at the architecture of the building. Quite quickly a priest hobbled over to her and said, "Welcome m'lady. Not many young visitors to the temple nowadays, what brings you to the Besaid temple?"
She smiled and said, "I've come on my own pilgrimage of sorts...I finished my first trail and was about to start my Pilgrimage while High Summoner Yuna defeated Sin, and never had the chance to do what I wished. Now that I'm able I wish to walk the path that I couldn't... even though Sin is no more." She bowed and offered the symbol of Yevon to the Priest. Since there was no need for Summoner's anymore she couldn't become one. So instead she decided to use this little white lie to gain access to the Fayths Chambers.
The priest narrowed his eyes and looked to her. "You seem a bit young lady..." He was fishing for a name, "Eva. Exscuse me for my rudeness, my Name is Eva." She then gave a sweet smile. "And thank you priest for the kind words. But do believe me I am a Summoner... or well used to be. I was studying about to start in Kilika with Master Yev." This part was true... she did remember the name Master Yev and when asking around found out he had died fifteen years before.
Apparently that worked, as the priest perked up. "Ah master Yev, That old goat. He and I entered into the priesthood together... my condolences for his passing Lady Eva... he was a good man." He bowed with a symbol of Yevon, showing his respects. She did as well "A great man. Thank you." She said with a smile.
The priest pointed towards the trials." Will you want to visit Valefor's Fayth?" he said with a toothy grin.
"Yes Thank you..." She nodded before walking up the stairs, and entered the cloister of trails. She ran her hands along the cool walls of the ancient temple. She smiled hoping that this would be the place she will regain more memories.
It was fairly quickly she made it to the Fayth and stepped through the doors, she could hear a slight humming noise, and when she looked at the fayth she was surprised to see it slightly glowing...a very dim glow barely visible. Her head suddenly throbbed and she fell to her knees. She saw herself back in the main hall of this temple, speaking with a blonde haired man, dressed in green with a sword at his side. She had seen this man before, flickers of memories. She didn't know his name... but she knew...she could just feel that he was a close friend... she saw him speaking to her, with a smile on his face but she couldn't hear him.
Suddenly it vanished... and she found herself laying on the glass of the Fayths statue, her eyes moist for some reason. It was different now though, It's glow more brilliant now, and the low hum was gone. Her eyes widened as she pushed herself up to her hands and her right thigh. She couldn't believe it. She was hearing the Hymn of the Fayth clearly now. Suddenly a young girl appeared infront of her, looked down at her and said, "Eva... You are worthy to become my summoner..." She couldn't say more as sounds of people yelling came from outside the chamber, then suddenly the door opened and a woman came rushing in, her skin white and her eyes a brilliant blue.
The sudden Burst in scared her and caused her to push herself farther back onto the Fayths glass on accident. What did she want? Before she could think of it more, two more women ran in, heads full of fiery red hair, were they sisters? The abnormally tall one seemed to be the one who was yelling as she had a fierce look upon her face while the smaller one, was more collected but serious. She could hear some more people yelling from behind them. What was going on?!?
She tried to sound brave, but it didn't come out well. "Wh....what are you all doing! This is the Chamber of Fayth! P..P.lease show respect, she only just came to..." She looked up to the Fayth who indeed looked tired, despite being pyreflies.
