St. Fortuna's Academy for the Higher Arts

Kyra’s rushed pace remained unchanged, even when she ran through a few groups of people, yelling “I’m sorry!!!” She nearly collided with a boy on a wheelchair, and slid to a stop.

“I’m so, so sorry!” she apologized. “Please, please forgive me! I really didn’t mean to run into you!” She looks over at the academy. “Oh, but I’ve gotta go! I need to get there… sorry again!” she yelled over her shoulder, setting off once more for the academy.

After another minute of running around (and through) more crowds, she stopped in front of the academy. “Okay,” she panted, trying to catch her breath, “I’m here....”

Kyra sighed and sat down against the wall, still panting. She looked out in front of her, looking at all the students coming along the road. She saw a few people here and there that she recognized, but she couldn't see very clearly into the absolute onslaught of people. She sighed and got to her feet, entering the academy. She was ready for the sacramentum, and all that came with it. "Let's do this."

Yang had been pretty quiet up until now. She stood up, stretching.

"I'd love to be there to look out for my little sis, but I guess if we're saving the entire everything, I'm sure she can take care of herself for a little while," she explained, placing a hand on her hip. "I definitely have a wish in mind, and I don't want people to die for no reason." She shrugged at this, and smiled.

"It's not like any of you guys know how to fight Grimm or anything, and they could probably be moved around places. It's been done before. Hey that would be a pretty Grimm situation, am I right?" She giggled a little, then continued. "But with all seriousness, I'm ready to pound some faces."

Alright, let's do this!

Starting it off with a Yang!

Appearance:

Name: Yang Xiao Long

Sex: Female

Franchise: RWBY

Special Abilities/Powers:
Aura: Every hunter and huntress has an aura, which protects them from harm. Their aura depletes as the hunter/huntress takes damage, but it can heal minor wounds, and protects them from, say, breaking a leg during heavy combat.
Semblance: With a hunter/huntresses’ aura comes their Semblance- an ability special to them. Yang’s semblance transfers damage she takes into more strength (and heat), allowing her to strike back with their force added onto her already formidable own.

Equipment: Ember Celica, her weapon. Basically a pair of shotgun gauntlets that allow her to fire off rounds as she punches.

History: Since Yang was young, she wanted to be a huntress. She attended Signal Academy, where she made Ember Celica, unlocked her aura, and discovered her semblance. After graduating Signal, Yang was accepted into Beacon Academy, the best training school for hunters/huntresses in the Kingdom of Vale. Her younger sister, Ruby Rose, was accepted early into Beacon, and became the leader of team RWBY, which consists of her, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang. They’ve had a few adventures together, and they’ve only just finished their first semester!

Personality: Yang is generally energetic, carefree, and highly confident. She is similar to the ‘party girl’ stereotype, in relation to her laid-back ‘let’s do this’ attitude. She does, however, get aggravated easily. Yang is looking for her mother, Raven Branwen, who left her father, Taiyang Xiao Long, partially due to the relationship he was having with Summer Rose, who is the mother of her half-sister, Ruby Rose. However, Yang doesn’t let that take up all her time, and looks for her as sort of her hobby.

Extra: This is for Yang between Volume 1 and Volume 2.
