Tired eyes blink open to see the doors ahead. Tired players get to their feet and approach the doors. Each door has a plack over it.
The first door, a white door with a handle seemingly made of ice, has a plack that reads Wintoro in bold letters. It can be assumed that this door leads to a rather frigid landscape of eternal winter, as the name suggests.
The second door, a red-painted door with leaves and a spring wreath upon it, is labeled as Autoro, with a fancy italic tilt. This, in the ancient dialect, means mid-spring. Upon first glance, this door seems to lead to a spring-like paradise or a similar autumn landscape.
The third door, a sandy-colored oak door, bears a plack that reads Santoro, underlined in thick black ink. This door radiates a nearly scalding heat. This leads to the summer timeline, as can immediately be inferred.
Each player chooses a door. Each is sent to their selected timeline.

Players who chose the white door are transported to a fitting harsh winter landscape. It is apparent that Wintoro is cold and harsh, constantly covered in snow and ice. The dangers of living here are countless, but the lands offer profit when it comes to trade, providing furs from the hundreds of seals that live in herds all around the timeline.
Players who chose the red-painted door are sent to a perfect spring paradise. It is seen upon arrival that Autoro is the easiest timeline to survive in, and is considered a trading hub for those who can cross timelines who live in Santoro or Wintoro. The climate here is perfect, with storms that keep the landscape pruned to perfection.
Finally, players who chose the oak door have their landscape transformed into a desert timeline which can be a harsh place to live if one does not have the needed resources to survive for months, perhaps even years, without water. Rain is rare, and when it does rain, it floods. The timeline of Santoro shows no mercy to those inhabiting it.

Each player starts in the main village of their timeline, where they can collect food and supplies to survive. They also start with 100 Vrach, the universal currency. It is time, players. Be free. But be wary… a Rift may open at any time…
Alexander sighed. He was hoping Blair would at least join him in Slytherin- for at least somebody who didn't harass him over his family lineage. He listened without a sound as the other first-years were called and sorted. Very few were put into Slytherin, and those who were he already disliked.
The Slytherin ghost had already taken to embarrassing and harassing Alexander, causing the boy quite a bit of difficulty already. Eventually, Alexander looked up as Blair's name was called.
Alexander rolled his eyes. Of course the Mudblood got Griffindor. It made sense to him, really. He found Juniper to be rather bold for a Mudblood, but still bratty enough to piss him off. He was offered a seat beside Mark and took it silently. "So, Alexander Bennett. Continuing your family line, as you should," The Bloody Barron purred as Alexander sat. Alexander studied his lap, not speaking.
There are three timelines a player can live in, going between them if need be. Each timeline would be in a different climate. The first timeline would be Wintoro, a snowy and harsh climate based timeline. The second would be Autoro, a fall/spring-like climate. The final timeline would be Santoro, a summer-based timeline. But these timelines can merge and be crossed by GMs, and players can go between timelines with GM permission.

There wouldn't be many GM posts, and it would be mostly run by the players. The only times the GM would post would be to open a rift, merge/unmerge timelines, etc.

Rifts would lead to the distruction, or perhaps- if you're lucky- only a natural disaster, related to the merged timelines. Of course, these three main timelines can occasionally grow branches also created by the GM before or after opening a rift. Rifts close at random, and can sometimes trap players.

There are two types of Rifts a GM can open. Those are:
- An Uncontrolled Rift
Uncontrolled Rifts open between any two, or perhaps even all three, timelines. These Rifts can be harmful or beneficial. This is determined by players PMing the given GM and pick a number between 1 and 10. The GM would pick a number, and tell the co-GM if there is one, and any players close to the number get some form of reward, the players far from the number get a disaster or something they have to fight. And the timeline that has the most players with close/far numbers gets a reward/punishment. (Idea from @BaileyBlue302)
- A Controlled Rift
Controlled Rifts open between any two timelines. These Rifts can be harmful or beneficial. This is determined purely by the GM, however the devastation, if caused, is much more controlled than that of an Uncontrolled Rift if chosen to be destructive.

Alexander sat on the stood, and before the hat even touched his head, it shouted its choice. "SLYTHERIN!" A few boo's echoed from the Slytherin table, but they quickly changed to cheers as they received a reprimand from their prefect Mark. Alexander was smiling shyly as he went to the Slytherin table without a word.
Could you?
@BaileyBlue302

Yes, the tri-Rift would be possible, however extremely rare. As for helping timelines, Soul never thought of that. That perhaps would be a useful addition, yes. Though the idea with Rifts is to pose a challenge to players. That also, Soul noticed, poses a challenge to your previous idea which he added. They're both great ideas- don't get him wrong- but they do conflict. However, if you could perhaps PM Soul, we could work them together.
Just bopping you a little nudge, as it's been a few days. No rush, just a lil' nudge.
Mika woke up soon, and left the camp. Unlike one might theorize from seeing her behavior, she was not intending to help the pack this time. No, her intention was to harm the pack. She moved through the landscape in her wolf form for a few minutes, before turning to her human form. She approached a house and knocked on the door.
