I read the rules, but I have a question. How do you to tell the details character is when a user posts, such as appearance and abilities so so you know how to interact with them?

For information, the character is just gonna have to ask. For actions that involve them, you can put them in action symbols.

Yes. A duo of those Amaranthine freaks boarded our vessel in an attempt to sabotage our course and prevent our arrival to the main HQ with supplies. Those monsters slaughtered mostly everyone onboard, we barely had enough time tocwarpjump to wherever the hell this is before they killed us all. The crash seemed to satisfy the two original attackers but it seems they left some 'gifts' behind.
