Biography:
Moe’s life begins in the slums of Corusant. Born to a mother who was a escort to a smuggler known as Randy “One-Shot” Jackson his life at a young age was rough. His father at first wasn’t a regular part of his life but as time went on by he started to slow down and realize that he had a son and not just some “accident” from a night out at the bar he would describe. Of course his mother had objections to this and wanted Moe to stay planetside and get himself a formal education and become something good of himself but those objections were quickly nuffield when his mother suffered an “accident” (Rumor has it her pimp murdered her when he was highly intoxicated and made it look like she fell down the stairs.)
With his mother out of the picture, Moe received basic education of how to write and read. Once that was completed his early life was mainly focused around working as a mechanic. His current ship was one of the activities him and his father would do to pass the time, trying to revive the old freighter but also upgrade it and bring it back to glory. Moe describes this time of his life with much pride and frankly enjoyed it. It honed his skill and he learned more about his father. Once he turned 18, One-Shot gave Moe a chance in the family business. One-shot’s main trade was moving illegal weaponry and ship parts to rebel contacts in-exchange for credits and often blueprints for ships. It was a lucrative trade for both sides and most nights there wasn’t that much danger or worry. One of the notable occurances happen when Moe was 20 during a supposed meetup on a Imperial controlled planet. The meetup was instead a ambush by a Imperial hitsquad which ended up in a lopsided affair that One-Shot and Moe won with the help of their compatriots.
Making a name for himself, Moe ventured away from the illegal arms market and starting dabbling in new trades. Information gathering, supplying illegal cargo to ports, even to the point where he partook in bounties and hired hits from time to time. Obviously he had his oppressors, mainly his father who felt that these new frontiers of crime and exploitation were not something that Moe should dabble in. Moe ignored and went on, not fearing a lot of having much worry.
However on one night, at a party in Corusant a hired assassin failed a attempt on Moe’s life. Over the course of 3 years, 4 assassins failed to eliminate Moe. At times due to stupid luck, but also due to the fact that every time that this happened, Moe kept on improving himself and his abilities. His shooting improved, his perception and his IQ over time and training also improved. But most of all he built a robust network that paid dividends in helping Moe track down who hired these hits.. His father.
At first it was shook for Moe. He remembers drinking at bars and on the ship. Often he contemplated suicide and had a severe case of depression during this time. However during this time he found and had a strong crew with him, a supporting cast he calls with his current girlfriend Diana being the lead of it. His friends like Rodney “Big-Man” Frank or Gino “Money” Vinci were one of the major reasons why he got out of that funk and eventually decided to take the only course of action.. Revenge.
Finding One-Shot was hard enough. Sure he had a sizable fortune and a network but the major issue with One-Shot was he was jealous. Early on, especially when it was only them in the equation it was simple. But as Moe started being more ambitious and more hungry, One-Shot desired a piece in that pie. He knew that he wouldn’t get piece simply by asking Moe so he tried to make it seem like that these fields that Moe was partaking in were too dangerous and maybe he should revisit them at another time. Of course this attempt failed and Big-Shot knew the only way to get into those businesses. Eliminate the competition, which was his son. Moe spent the next few years of his life chasing Big-Shot. Traveling planet to planet. Asking contacts and calling in favors if needed. This ended up leading him to where the ship both father and son worked on. Big Shot was spotted polishing the ship as he looked to Moe. Big-Shot without a word bolted and got into the ship, Moe right behind him. The duo had a heated fist fight on the ship which led to Big-Shot taking off and flying from the planet after he somewhat got the upper hand on Moe. Yet as this occurred and the ship reached the atmospheric level of the planet a simple bang was heard. Big Shot took a bullet straight to the head and slumped down onto the control panel. Moe, cold heatedly simply opened up the trash chute and threw the body out of it. Big=Shots body drifted away from the ship both father and son had built.
Now, Moe and his group of smugglers are independent contractors and freelancers who work for the best dollar or the best interests of themselves. Only time will tell what this galaxy holds for them.
