posted a quick burb, the general store seems to be booming today.

Javier poured himself a cup of coffee as he pressed the play button on the messaging machine. A few messages about reservations popped up and Javier wrote them down nearby in a small agenda. Things were normal until he heard’s the mayor’s message about the potluck happening. ”Guy just wants another bottle of wine, hmmph”.

He walked out of his living area which was located right infront of the desk to look around to it. The morning newspaper had just arrived, well he was subscribed to a few editions of it really, to give his customer’s a sense of variety. He grabbed the top one, being his favorite and the one his brother worked at: “The City Times”. On it was another legal battle that BigCo was incorporated into. A local village that was a few hours away from Javier’s was fighting a construction notice by BigCo to build a new big box store. The legal battle went on for years and years until finally, it ended with BigCo agreeing to settle. It was a shame really Javier thought, villages are often thrown under the bus knowing that even if they reject BigCo, they’ll simply come back with more money until someone gives the greenlight.

Javier looked at the clock for a moment, before he went towards a red book labelled “Ledger and Guest list”. Javier opened it up and briefly skimmed it over before he nodded to himself. He then dialed every phone at the hotel and left a convenient message. ” Good Morning to you all, Javier speaking, and you need to pay up if your staying for this upcoming week. Come to the main desk before Tuesday evening and pay. Other then that, food service resumes normally today. Ask the front desk for the specials.” stated Javier before releasing the button. Javier then nodded towards Eugene, his assistant to the man the front desk. He walked out of the inn and simply proceeded to go to the general store, to place an order for some goods.
I'll have something within the next few days.

”I’ll be honest, I kind of do. My father told me about them when I got this place a few years back and I’ve been going on my mother’s advice to the temple once every year, in the Summer to pay my respects and offer up a offering. They guide everything in the village, from food to how many customers I get so it’ll be wise not to anger them.”

Ground floor, behind the Inn Keeper desk. Well furnished home with a lot of luxuries to spare. A good computer for video gaming, a well stocked alcohol and cigar cabinet while also having a ton of books on his library shelf. Also a big TV with a very good cable package.

It’s been an interesting turn of events for Javier.

Originally from the village, Javier was born in the same inn he runs today, his father owned the inn from his grandfather who passed away roughly 2 years before Javier was ever born. The oldest out of 3 kids that the Mendez clan would have, from the onset of life Javier had a interest in running the Inn.

His mother was a up and rising lawyer, but early on in life he saw her a lot. She would fly out to the airport and take a car ride into the village to meet father and son, for months at a time. But as she became increasingly influential in the law world, her time to spend with her village family became less. She did however prefer that her kids experience the village rather then the city.

As years went by, Javier, his father and his siblings ran the inn. At times it was tough, but they’d managed to pull through. Javier left the village once he turned 18 and went to the city on his father and mother’s advice to pursue a degree in business. City life at first was a culture shock for young Javier but as time went on he acquired some tastes. From cigars, to booze to even reading fine literature and the classics. These like he attributes to his time at university. To this day he still maintains connections with a few friends and city goers.

Once completing university, Javier’s father sought to expand his empire. So he asked Javier if he wanted to stay in the city or the village. At that time, Javier felt like the city was the way to go. Yet at the same time he missed the peace of the village. He missed just being able to do his own thing and be bothered occasionally. So, he packed his bags, and choosing to pick peace over the bustle and the big city life he moved back. His father signed the paperwork and later founded a motel for wealthy businessmen in the city. It’s popular mainly due to it’s excellent room service.

Javier’s siblings later moved to the city to better pursue their goals, they come back from time to visit Javier but other then that he’s on his own for the most part. Enjoying life in the village.

Location: Kingston Apartment -> El Jefe Beach House
Interacting with: Chanel @Ejected

Jerome was fast asleep when his phone glowed up. His IMessages showed Chanel was asking him where he was at. As soon as he read the message, he looked at the time. Fucking hell, nap was longer then I thought it would be thought Jerome as he rubbed his eyes. He got up the couch and headed straight to the shower. After a brisk shower, he put on a long sleeve Champion shirt with a BHHS high varsity jacket. His number “45” was written on the side of the varsity jacket with the name “Kingston” on the back. He also wore a set of black jeans, made by True Religion. He walked towards his bedroom near to the dresser to examine the various jewelry items on display. The first item he placed on was an gold Cuban-link chain. Then he placed on a simple yet effective Citizen watch on his left wrist before finally finishing off his get up by spraying an Armani cologne all over his body. Before exiting, Jerome opened a drawer in his dresser and pulled out the false bottom. In their he grabbed a small baggie of pre-rolled blunts and slotted a few in his pocket. Finally, he went towards his fridge in the kitchen. In the kitchen he grabbed two small bottles of liquor, one of Rum and one of Gin. He grabbed his set of car keys and a Supreme Zippo lighter before departing the apartment.

Had work, Uncle wanted me to help a customer, coming soon. Jerome texted Chanel as he walked towards the Black Porsche, which was recently cleaned and ready for the night out. He got into the driver seat of the car before looking around a moment, checking for any cops or anything out of the ordinary. Common procedure for a guy of his caliber driving in a nice car like this he’d thought, plus considering the shit that was about to go down tonight at the party? He didn’t wanna’ be the reason for it to fuck up due to a unwanted invitee.

The Porsche roared down the highway before taking the scenic route to the Beach House, the party by the looks of it was getting hotter by the moment. Cars lined the streets as the Porsche slowly looked for parking. He shook his head before he did a 3 point turn. Guy doesn’t got any grass, so he wouldn’t mind me parking on the property instead of the street. Jerome thought as the car slowly reversed onto the space beside the driveway. Jerome got out of the car and locked it twice before he whipped out his IPhone, he took a quick snapchat video of all the cars and the exterior of the house before doing a quick selfie of himself. Whatcha’ saying ya’ll, we out here in the beach life. Jerome said, before hiding his phone inside of his pocket.

Jerome then unscrewed the bottle of Gin in his bottle and downed it quickly before tossing it aimlessly on the driveway. He walked into the house and looked around at the ever-raging party scene. He nodded to himself before he spotted a familiar face, Chanel in one of the corners of the house. Jerome headed that way. Whatcha’ saying girl. Sorry about the late timing and shit, man’s gotta’ grind ya’ feel?
