Alright, so I've taken the time to write up three different characters. Do take them into consideration :)

Edit: GOD DIGGITY DAMNIT I DIDN'T SEE YOUR POST ABOUT A FOREST CHARACTER! DX

Uh...well, on the bright side, my forest guy is technically more about restoring nature as a whole, rather than acting as a forest-only guy.
A misplaced belt is way better than Hou looking like, well...

Wait shit, did the leaderscreen not load for Hou? I swear to god if it didn't....

I suppose next time you get around to a PoW civ after Efiopia, you'd need to do Spain, since Sotelo currently looks like...

Hey now, if Sotelo wants to wear a dress then let him! He's just expressing himself as any Spanish despot should.

@Space Communist

Also since you're still here (supposedly) and on Mexico: I don't think anything had happened in North America per-say, but the Third International did agree that war needs to happen against Spanish aggression in Africa. It's not a move that forces everyone in the Comintern to declare war on Spain, but has helped served as a reason for some to reinforce their commitment and to follow up on their own. What's compulsory now of all members is to contribute something to the defense of Africa.

China has yet to make any formal declarations.

Ah yes, sounds about the same as when I was last around. Guess Mexico needs to mobilize, or at least send relief supplies to refugees/misplaced civilians in Africa. Or something like that. We'll figure it out.

Which reminds me, I should probably start working on getting, I dunno, an actual fucking plot going for Mexico, as I should've done months ago. HOORAY FOR PUTTING THINGS OFF!
I should toss both in.

Aw shucks, now I feel like i've actually accomplished something with my life :3

My complaint though is that Hou doesn't wear a belt. Or at least my understanding of the Zhongshang suit is that it doesn't require a belt at all.

Ah, I see. I can touch up the image if you'd like.

Other than that: you have my approval. I like the guy in the comments too who wants to see a Oceania civilization.

Oh dang, I hadn't even seen those comments yet! I might just make an Oceania mod one day (well, as soon as I finish my old Animal Farm mod :P)

I'll toss your Hou picture on the Hou page as well, somewhere.

yee~
Well well well, this looks like a very interesting RP! I might just join. Two questions, though:

1. Can we make more than one character? If so, would that be limited to one main character and one npc, or multiple main characters, or what?

2. As ProfessorNV said, is right now a decent time to join?
Sup nerds! It's been a while, huh?

Just dropping by to let you guys know that I finally got around to updating those old Civ V Precipice mods of mine. I managed to upload one to the Steam Workshop - "it", in this case, being Hou's China, with new uniques and everything. I'm nearly done updating another familiar face, but in the meantime I plan on finishing up the Hou mod first.

Edit: Oh and I'll probably throw in a little something-something for Mexico, now that I'm here. Maybe. Ima have to assess the situation for the Americas before I make any posts ;)
<Snipped quote by VATROU>

Just to make a clarification. There is no correlation between Arachne becoming a metahuman and her receiving the most common superpower among superheroines. Those were different occurrences. ;)

Technically, if she got the most common superpower at some point, wouldn't that mean that she's had two instances of becoming a metahuman? I'd say that that's a pretty accurate correlation, albeit beyond that I doubt there's much more of a connection.

Also, her tits are fucking huge
Alright, here's the NPC owner, and competitor among the businesses in Lost Haven, of GeneCorp. Pardon me, I got lazy and made a smallish sheet. Now...watch her turn into a massive PC later on. XD

I smell a genetically-modified boss battle coming up
I'll let you in on a secret:

No wonder it burns when he pees.
Oh, and for you Black Bloc supporters out there, you can't spell Anarchy without Monarchy! (and adding an A.)

Isn't it sort of the other way around? Monarchy - Mo + A = Anarchy
@Space Communist

Also, the Pinkertons kinda sorta put down people like the Vox Populi (worker's unions).

Yeah, going out and killing union members and strikers is kinda what the Pinkertons were known for.

Well, to be fair to poor lil' horseshoe theory, there is one valid point. Everyone's political views overlap at one point or another, and that's what gets shit done in countries of today, people agreeing on the least offensive option. (And the horseshoe theory is just that; a theory. It's on paper only, it has yet to manifest; like black holes, there's some sliver of evidence they exist, yet people extrapolate from there.)

((Though black holes are infinitely cooler than political/ethical theory.))

I agree that all political ideologies share at least one trait with another ideology (neoliberalism and conservatism, Marxism and anarchism, fascism and monarchism, etc.), but the horseshit theory uses that fact as a basis for claiming that "extreme" ideologies are closely linked, whereas centralist ideologies are not, and are therefore better. The fact that the horseshit theory is often used by centrists as a means of protecting their ideology and/or mudslinging other ideologies doesn't help it at all. What's more, the theory ignores the contextual and material conditions that lead to different ideologies arising, as well as the end goals of each. It's more of an argumentative theory than an examinative theory, and as such it is very poorly made.

Black holes, by the way, are pretty much proven by now, what with photographic evidence of them. But I'm sure you already knew that.

I think I get why most people are deeply offended by the horseshoe theory. People view their political views as the 'morally right' way of doing things, and are offended when they are associated with their 'mortal enemies' or polar opposites.

Well, being compared to a mortal enemy is one thing. Claiming that two opposite ideologies are the same despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, and then using that as a basis to posit that one's own centrist ideology is the least evil, is just downright insulting.

(Note: Me trying to be objective here, emphasis on trying. I agree with you totally, Space.

Well thank you! It's rare to see someone being objective over sociopolitical matters. I know I'm certainly not one of those people XD

How dare you say that to me. I am a relatively clean pinko left-wing Marxist, thank you very much.
