Historical revisionism? Looks like the directors of that movie get a free vacation in Siberia - it'll be so great, they'll never wanna leave!

Also, completely unrelated, but I believe this is what happens when a twelve-year-old discovers porn for the first time, and it's R34 of amy the hedgehog

I'll work on a post tonight if it'll stop the memes.

You cannot stop the memes. We have seized the memes of production, and we will utilize them to their fullest extent, comrade!

If it makes you feel better there isn't really such thing as a career with good pay or a future anymore.

except maybe meth or having rich parents

True, though in all fairness the actor's life has always been shitty since the dawn of man.

I would add "politician" to that list of careers with futures and good pay, but considering that the rise of the proletariat is inevitable, I don't think that career choice has much of a good future ;)
I think Tim Curry owned that part. Never saw the stage show though, so can't make the comparison.

Oh yeah he did a pretty good part playing...well, whatever that transvestite was supposed to be.

As for the stage show, it's all very much involved with the audience - I think that's why the movie tries to break the fourth wall here and there...?

I only saw the movie once.

I envy you. I can attest that, as a theatre major, whenever there's a chance to watch the movie at a party or whatever, actors and actresses will do so. I firmly believe this to be one of the three major flaws of my career choice, along with nonexistent pay and rejection by society as "useless".

God I hate that movie. I mean the stage show is okay and all, plus I understand the significance of it as an alt-culture dress-up thing for theatre-goers, but like, the movie is still bad.

Yup, that's my opinion on the RHPS movie, and I'm confident that it will not in any way be divisive or damning of me.

yaaay~

Should have Nerine's intro up sometime soon, barring any interruptions.

@Space Communist@Fernstone

Considering Grindlehook, Nerine, and Aylin are are fairly foresty based, think there's probably some history there. You guys wanna discuss stuffs or no?

Well, while Grindelhooke isn't particularly rooted (lol puns) to forestry in particular (he's a restorer of nature, after all), it would make sense that he shares some backstory with the other two, moreso Nerine than AyyLmao Aylin.

For Nerine, I'd say he usually passed by her territory whenever humans mess up something in the forest, perhaps at Nerine's summoning or perhaps because Grindelhooke can just sense whenever mortals ruin nature. I think her view of him as either her pet or her servant could make for some good comic relief, as Grindelhooke wouldn't exactly view the situation the same way. Furthermore, perhaps it was Grindelhooke that convinced Nerine to join the demons? Or vice versa, who knows. Just a suggestion.

For Aylin, I put in the "opinions" list (which reminds me: I need to add an opinion for Nerine) that she had occasionally disturbed nature in her hunts, though it was nothing to make a grudge over. Maybe there could be some history worked out from there...?
