> Well, I'm mostly concerned about having this fear (it seemed like each lantern had a specific phobia that it was connected to) be a driving force in the character's actions, and not being able to choose what it is. It's limiting. I'm attempting to mitigate how limiting it is by making a character that would be driven by that fear anyway, especially now that she's plunged down the rabbit hole... That's a good question-- no, the lanterns don't randomly give the person a phobia, they have already had that phobia beforehand. As with how they were chosen, we picked powers that would somehow correspond with your phobia. (At least for some, since a few powers have been changed now they seem oddly thrown together) I.e person with rainbow flame can idk.. turn into a sparkles and their phobia is never being beautiful enough or something. Some are ridiculously ironic, but I won't say what they are because secrets. :) If you're really concerned, I'll pm you what the phobia is. Also, phobias aren't quite the driving force of your characters personality-- the fear really only comes into play at the end of the roleplay, when shit goes _down_. But that's pretty far away. We didn't pick phobias that the character would constantly be exposed to like.. girls or something. As for you, OS, it was a lucky coincidence.
You could also be the God of something tangible like Weather or Plants, Water, etc. While they may be created already someone needs to keep them in check. Edit: If you did nature it would have to be just plants because Finnos is the god of animals.
> Moved! I think I'll look for some reference images for Mitch's lantern. > > Would the invisible flame still create light? I imagine it to have light that can only be seen through things, but actually looking at it it's invisible. Is that determined, or up to me? Yeah, we wanted it to not be apparent when looking directly at it, but still somehow cast light. I think if it didn't create light it'd be a worthless flame, lel. Your guess at what it does works too.
Hey there! Today I suddenly found the urge to finally put into motion a semi-realistic wolf roleplay that I had made for another roleplay site a year ago. Since that site was primarily live chat roleplay, and this was an extensive plot, I didn't think it would progress as it deserved. In this roleplay, Paradise Lost, you are part of the first wolves-- wolves that roam the biblical Garden of Eden. Life is good, until Man falls from perfection. Slowly, all animals are starting to prey upon one another out of desperation, and they realize they're slowly losing their mental capacity to speak and think like man. This Paradise, it seems, has been lost. Since it's been in development for so long, I have created so many minor plots within this world to go along with it so we never get bored. I'm looking for at least 5 members, and more will be welcome. And you'll be able to create a maximum of two characters. The roleplay is expected to be mid to high casual. Questions, comments, concerns? Post below or send me a PM.
YES THIS IS STILL OPEN AND WE ARE SEARCHING FOR THREE MORE MEMBERS BEFORE WE START. click the link I already posted above for more details.
