With Mal's speed? Yes. And Mal doesn't have to take the sword route either. With quick access to his firearms, he can kill Diana before she fires. This would be so much easier if you numerated your skills according the tier and we can compare. But with the descriptions laid out before us, Mal can preform a killing action before she can fire a shot, if not predict the shot's trajectory. We should take this to Pm's, on Discord maybe?

"I think I saw him at the bar. Here, I'll see if he's still out there. Sit tight." Marco said, taking a hit from the cig before getting up. He went behind the counter, and took out a brown paper bag, hooking it under his arm. He opened the door, looking around. He didn't see anyone. That was, until he looked up at the roof. There was his man. Oh, and it was the woman from the bar, too.

"Oi! What're you doing up there?" Marco yelled up at them. His eyes were glazed, and he looked a little unsteady. It seemed like the waterweed was having quite the effect on him. Hell, it looked like even a cross breeze would knock him over. "Do...Do you know? If you guys fell down, I don't have insurance for that." He was pointing, and making a big scene, and acting like a buffoon. Completely different from who he looked like in the bar. He had the cig hanging from his mouth, so it was obvious he'd been smoking something.

"This guy with a dog...You're harassing him! Why do you hate dogs!?" He was swaying a little, and waving his hands around while he talked. "A-and you! Robot lady! Get down from there, you...You robot."

It's not the tier that matters in this case then, it's the skills that the characters possess in tow. And by all accounts, Mal outperforms.

Ah, you are correct. For example, if a character with, I dunno, some sort of ability that grants them good reflexes goes up against an opponent with weapons skills of lower rank than that power, or none at all, the character with the reflexes would likely win.

Marco got up when he heard the bell chime, joint in his mouth. He realized that he was not in a state to meet customers, and this was probably why his shop was failing. He was about to say they were closed...Until he spotted the cute puppy.

"Can I pet your dog?" He asked. The question was answered by hound, as the dog headed for the table. Marco quickly lifted the cake away. "No. Chocolate kills dogs." He said to Hound, before putting it on a shelf. He turned to Colin.

"Go ahead. Have some tea." He said, slouching down on the chair before taking another hit. "What do you mean a tail, though? Are a bunch of G-Men going to come busting in?" He asked. He could use a mechanic or engineer if they had a ship, but he was more worried about the cops coming in while he was discussing illegal activities. "Why're you being tailed, anyways? Do you not have a dog license?"

Hmm. That could work. Maybe because it's been hacked it has more than one personality? And it uses a hologram projector to look however it wants.

We should come to a consensus on that, by the way. Here, I'll post sorta a mashup of things people suggested, and we can pick and choose. What do you guys think of the name? The two that have been suggested are Max One Five and The Penumbra. Maybe Max One Five is the name of the model of ship, but The Penumbra is what the crew has named this particular Max One Five class battleship?

It has an AI. I wonder if we could get someone to play them? They could have an AI in the ship that gets uploaded to some sort of robot when the crew goes out.

@Dark Light Ah, are you on mobile? If so, you might be able to get around it by going to the desktop site instead of mobile. It's what I do.

As for the ability, I agree that it's possible they might ask us to scale back the powers. However, there are several abilities within the other groups that equate to a free skill. Even if they do ask us to change it, well, all that means is that we have to change it.

We can definitely keep the skill transfer thing, but make it one of the facilities the ship has, in addition to other forms of training. Some players might prefer mundane training. Like, I don't think Marco would want to do the skill transfer thing. He'd be more likely to just go lift weights with John.

Ultimately, they all do pretty much the same thing (Grant a new ability similar to one a teammate has) but have different ways players can write it.

Also, Rilla recently accepted me. So I'm in.
