Backstory: EQUIP liked to fight and always dreamed of being a powerful warrior who could best any foe. Mike went to Hero's College and trained as a fighter. Having graduated, he faces an oversaturated job market, and is thus willing to take any work he can get.
Abilities: Due to intense training at the Hero's School, EQUIP is physically in amazing physical condition. His classes required him to buy some very expensive weapons and armor, and he's damn well going to use them.
He's not super good at magic, but he can cast Fireball. He can throw it or send it flying with his bat, and it explodes when it hits something. How powerful the explosion is depends on how long he spent charging it: One second creates a small firecracker, 3 seconds is enough to break down a door or maim someone, 6 seconds is comparable to a grenade and can total a car or kill someone, and past that it will explode in his hand and hurt him.
He's also a good cook and especially likes to cook and eat monsters he kills.
EQUIPment:
Rocket Bat: EQUIP's weapon of choice. This baseball bat is designed for combat, made from ultramodern energy-repellent allows. What this means is that EQUIP can reflect projectile attacks back at enemies. One one side, his bat also has rocket thrusters. By pressing a button on the handle, he can ignite the fuel in the bat, releasing a devastating attack that sends foes flying. After using this attack, he has to change out the fuel canister, which takes several seconds.
Body Armor: EQUIP's adventuring outfit is deceptively durable, protecting key areas with a combination of monifilament mail and metal plates.
Pantera: EQUIP's incredibly snazzy bike.
