@Akayaofthemoon Thanks for the update! I'm still sort of waiting too. Chromite will probably need an answer from Bloodstone before she can move forward and Spinel is just following Aquamarine at this point.
@rocketrobie2 I don't want to spoil too much, but I'll say that the books are generally way better about showing Scott getting called out for being an ass. They don't portray him unequivocally as the hero as much as the movie does.

@rocketrobie2 You should totally read the novels. I enjoyed the film but the novels are far better. Also, get the game. The Scott Pilgrim video game is one of the great pinnacles of human achievement.
I'm having a really hard time thinking of what to have my character do.

The one you referred to as Bloodstone, you said he is the one I should report to?" Bloodstone had only just begun to head in another direction, perhaps Spinel could still reach him if she hurried. Was he really the right choice? Spinel took a moment to evaluate her options. She was a reconnaissance gem, that much she knew, so which of the two seemed more like someone a reconnaissance gem should report to? Bloodstone had made a big entry, not attempting to hide his presence at all, attempted to intimidate the other gems, and gave them all the option of joining before he left.
More of this choice business. If he was meant to command me, he would not have spoken in such a way. Perhaps there isn't a suitable leader here at all. She considered this some more. While her methodology was also flawed, this Aquamarine was still here, and seemed interested both in learning more about the situation, and also giving whatever information was requested. She had also proven herself to be trustworthy.
