@Cyrania I'm a HUUUUGE Winter Soldier fan, so anything that links back to Dr Zola is right up my alley!!! That sounds really cool, hell, maybe you could combine the mutant/lab origins in a way, perhaps Chris' mother was experimented on during pregnancy, or when Chris was a newborn, so technically his powers are from an experiment, but unlike the likes of, say Wolverine, Deadpool and Winter Soldier, the powers are their from birth/shortly after birth as opposed to an adult!

It's totally your call of course, I like the aspect of the experiment being shelved by Zola and picked up by another scientist, perhaps somewhere in the story Zola gets snippy about his stolen experiment which later succeeds! Sorry I'm running away with things now haha!

She sounds interesting and a good representation of the magical aspect. Intangibility might be a more "banshee" like power then pure invisibility, though that's just a thought.

Overall, she's cool too and I agree with your assessment of my character.

I will have to politely disagree on the intangibility point ^^" Banshee's are usually "heard not seen" and are faerie-folk rather than ghosts in Irish-Gaelic lore. Banshee's can alter their appearance/form so the fact that she's not a ghost and she can change her appearance lead me to perceive her as "invisibility powered" rather than "intangibility" powers. I'm pretty well-versed in Celtic lore since I am Irish haha ^^" Though this is my first time to RP aspects of it actually oddly enough ...

Are you going with mutant or lab experiment origin story? Both are interesting angles that could go in lots of cool different directions.

While we're waiting, maybe we can touch base on what kind of superhero we want to be and they'd work within the squad. Maybe even ask for feedback or advice?

I'm thinking of going with a psychic healer (either with telekinesis and telepathy as secondary powers or only telekinesis) named Christopher Holland, called Chris for short. He would either go mutant-style and be born with his psychic capabilities or be a lab experiment who was rescued and put into foster care services.

I was gonna go with a "banshee" character called Morgan. She'd have sonic scream and sound powers and would later develop shapeshifting, flight and invisibility. She inherits her powers from an Ancient Celtic artefact that possessed the powers of the Celtic Triple Goddess "The Morrígan", sort of like how Karla Sofen/Meteorite/Moonstone draws power from her moonstone, Morgan "absorbs" the Morrígan's powers by accident but unlike Moonstone, she wouldn't die if her powers were removed BUT she doesn't know how to remove these powers (or maybe she just hasn't tried ...)
She is going to be an antihero type of character or possibly a villain if the chance arises because SHIELD (specifically Tony Stark on SHIELD's behalf) is commissioned to make a device to "dampen" her powers so she doesn't accidentally scream a house down (literally) but they go too far (e.g. Tony locking Wanda in her room during Civil War) and she develops a resentment for SHIELD and Tony Stark.

I think Chris could be a good pal for Morgan, since she is technically mute (using her voice could cause huge destruction so she is limited in her speech), his telepathy would be a cool contrast to Morgan's inability to speak aloud or via telepathy.

Marvel - Dawn of Heroes

Okay folks, its your friendly neighbourhood Spud here! Just popping in to do some garden maintenance for our wild RP thread!!!

As ya'll are aware, I'm studying full time and move between cities on the weekend, its a 3+hr journey each way which, obviously is difficult, ontop of full time studying. Plus, to add to the strain, I have a very ill relative who may pass away soon. All that aside, I do get time to pop on and off to RP and chill, but this RP is slowing to a sputtery crawl so its time to get the wheels-a-turnin' again.

Sep's Thor is out of action for the forseeable future but we still have the following cast with their own arcs under way (according to the Char tab). If you have a character that has been approved or is awaiting approval, lemme (or the other GM's, Ded and Natty) know what the story is.

If you haven't posted an IC post yet I'd politely encourage you to do so, no pressure, but it'd be great to have your char hop in and kick off some plot action-y stuff, so please do so if you can. At the moment we have a huge-as-fuck explosion in New York and a Mutant Rally gone-wrong, the Murdoch Case (Also in New York, in Manhattan), Fredzilla and Juggernaut ready to wreck the house (if not already wrecking the world in one place or another lol!) and a bank robbery show-down featuring Wonder Man Quentin Quire and Hercules trying to find a worthy opponent or enemy!!

We have a huge overarching HYDRA plot at the mo, a resurgence of HYDRA terrorist attacks so feel free to punch some goons in the mean time if you aren't ready to team up or go toe-to-toe with the other character.

Im just quickly popping in and skimming the thread so if I miss anything PLEASE comment or PM me or annoy the other GM's, once we get a few IC posts up and some OOC bants I'm sure we'll be back on track in no time and we might see Sep again with us in the future :)

Spuddy-Spoo popping in here!! Despite a CRAZY schedule and stuff (as I posted on my page, family bereavement), I am here!!! Will try and kick some life back into this thread if anyone else is here with me!! If the other GM's don't beat me to it I'll do a stock take of what we have going on at the mo and who is still around adn how we'll tie stuff together with who is still active etc :)
