"Dormant? Perhaps these trees could tell us how the Queen became that way, and it might lend some help in finding a way to release them. Erm, trees? I can hardly believe this is happening, but I'd hope you can lend us some aid. Do you know the story of the Dormant Queen?"
Dormant Queen, Dormant Queen. Hmm, could I have read about that somewhere?
LIKES Necro (his half-zombie butler) ▵ cookies ▵ going to the gym ▵ having good grades ▵ homework ▵ Martinellis ▵ the beach ▵ He also likes to shop a lot or send his butler to do it for him ▵ Meeting new people ▵ learning new things ▵ quiet ▵ the dark ▵ a good book, video games, and eating brains (Ha! Just joking, or not?), movies (especially black and white westerns) along with television in general.
DISLIKES Looking at the sun without sunglasses, pushy people, pitchforks, people who scream a lot, long lines, inconsiderate people, smug jerks, babies, children, cats, anything pink, loud noises, stubbed toes, losing, cliques, jokes that you have to explain, and thorns.
s k í l l s & w є α k n є s s є s ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ STRENGTHS Not Your Ordinary Zombie Being a Half-Zombie, his intelligence is exceptional for a zombie and through months of study to get into Hawthorne and succeed, his book smarts became above the average. He constantly seeks to prove himself worthy of cohabitating with the other supernaturals, and is greatly offended by traditional zombie movies, considering them almost an insult to his own capabilities. Undead Longevity Moriah is expected to live 2-3 times as long as a normal human. He also has resistance against poison and requires less oxygen than most to survive. He can't survive without it, but he can use the minimum amount. To put this in perspective he could perfectly fine with his head down a hole it almost perfectly fits in. Being a zombie partially, he can't feel pain. Slow Going Moriah ages at about 75% the speed a human would. He’s a first year, being physically nineteen, but fears what may happen if anyone figures out he’s almost six and a half years older in reality. A Human's Human Despite these odd biological factors, Moriah looks no different from a regular person.
WEAKNESSES Easily Flustered Moriah hates to lose in a battle of wits. When he's proved wrong, he doesn't do too well. He also takes a lot of time to process very emotional events and takes death hard because he experienced it himself. Argumentative If there's one thing about Moriah most people agree on, it’s that he likes to get the last laugh, whether in debates or good ol’ insults. You can guess that he usually has more up his sleeve than he lets on. Bad Liar Moriah can lie, but when he does, he opens his eyes wider than most of the time.
OUTLOOK / IDEALS / PERSPECTIVE ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ Werewolves: Overexcited idiots constantly fighting a race war against the vampires. I’ll have to watch out not to get caught between that little problem at school. They have their own clique, a nicely sized group I like to call the Pack, or just the Bitches when they piss me off. Necro tells me that werewolves can shift between wolf and human form at will. Well, no offense as I truly hold the man in high regard, his information may be outdated. I’ll probably learn the truth anyway at the library or something. I don’t have any particular prejudice against werewolves, and respect them as much as any other species so moving on.
Vampires: Vampires are blood-suckers that make up the other side in the race war. Again, that makes two groups I should watch my back around. Come to think of it, I’ve never tasted blood. Is it really that good? Of course, blood has involuntarily been in my mouth after a small fistfight, but all it tasted like was akin to licking an iron bar. Doesn’t seem too appetizing to me. Vampires and werewolves have one thing in common: They don’t scare me one bit. Growing up as a zombie, I’ve had my fair share of bullies and know how it feels, so I don’t have any prejudices against Vampires either.
Sirens: Can they control their voice? I’d kind of like to see a siren sing karaoke to a group of humans and just watch their brains shut down and go into sleep mode. I dunno if the same would happen to me though, so maybe not the best idea. They don’t have a war going on, so that’s nice. Dunno if I’d ever want to be friends with one anyway though, since they’re probably manipulative by nature of having that power. I guess the aforementioned thought would be a prejudice, but I just think it’s an opinion.
Humans: Lots of different cultures make up these people. Peoples? Huh, never thought of that. Anyway, movies are kind of…harmful for the image of supernatural society, I guess. I only really get offended by modern man’s edition of the zombie. Give us some more credit! You don’t see me shambling around unnaturally chasing people for their brains. This fear that comes from the best zombie portrayals in human opinion subjected me to some pretty harsh bullies in my hometown. Well, that’s why I’m going here. To hopefully meet people just as strange as me.
Other: I guess you mean other than those four? Hmm, I just judge them as they come up. I don’t know how else it would be. I would have to be a seer to form premeditated opinions on whoever I met, and I am not that.
AMBITIONS ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ ➽➽➽ I want to become someone better than I was last year. Hawthorne should definitely do the trick in that respect. I also want to be the top of my class. Otherwise, I can do with being left alone to game or read. I do have lofty visions, but they seem easiest to complete if I go through life without stepping on other people’s toes.
FEARS ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ ➽➽➽ Spontaneous Death - The kind where someone kills you without you knowing how. If Moriah is to die even more than he already has, he wants to face it head-on.
