Okay apparently I'm turning myself into a comic relief character?
I have ideas for my bankai which is supposed to be horrifying so maybe the dissonance between the two personalities will help it? I dunno I'll come up with something.

After the fight, Ayashi gave a small laugh when Yu ran away, then headed to Squad four to get a bit of healing done before she went to go meet with the head Captain. They worked fast, and it looked as if Ayashi didn't get into a fight at all except for a bit of dirt in her hair, otherwise she looked completely normal. Heading back to the Squad one barracks, the guards let her in noticing her from before, they led her to the Captain in which she respectfully spoke to him about wanting to join. There she noticed other people in the room, but decided to pay no mind to them as she figured they were there for the same reason as her. She followed the Captain silently as he lead them through various rooms, then down a staircase, to a large room. "Big, dark, seems like my kind of place," Ayashi mumbled.

Yoshimitsu, after silently following Ayashi for a short time, approached the guards to the Squad 1 Barracks. "Hey, uh, guys, how's it going?" he said, trailing off as he scratched the back of his head. This is stupid, his brain correctly told him, but he continued nonetheless. "Anybody know a good place to get some training in? Like say from a captain, who might happen to be leading another shinigami around the barracks right now..." he trailed off again, scratching away to the point where hair was coming out of his head. "You know, like the Head Captain? Captain of the 1st division and the shinigami elite, that Head Captain?" he continued to murmur, the guards nonplussed by his antics. "Y-you know, you guys look kind of busy, maybe I should stop bothering you, leave you be, something like tha-" he said as he attempted to shunpo past the guards into the closed gate.

You can ^_^ in the OP there's lists of Shinigami skills (Kido, Hoho, Zanjutsu etc.) And you start off with the ones labelled as unseated so you can have a little more than just those two xP

I just didn't want to go too overboard yet. Prrrrrobably should have looked at some other profiles for reference.

Kurono jumped behind a new tree as the wolf rushed past him. Geez, I wouldn't want that thing after me, he thought, his heart pounding. Feet, if you plan to move anytime soon, it would be really smart not to stick around here, he tried to convince himself, but he knew he wanted to see this through to the end no matter what logic or reason dictated.

I guess we're staying put, then? he asked himself as he turned around the tree again to continue his viewing.

K, so I posted in the Character Sheet thread and also updated with some of my Zanpakuto abilities that I have planned for the future (most unobtained. I still won't have a bankai listed for a long while). I can start off with Hado #4 right? That and Shunpo. That's basically all I'm going to use as far as combat ability so far.

Kurono Yoshimitsu

Name: Kurono Yoshimitsu

Appearance: A small, frail frame standing on two spindly legs covered by the wide legs of his garb. Wearing standard shinigami attire, Kurono does little to stand out. He has black unkempt hair of medium length and wide, puppy-dog-like eyes that seem far too deep.

Age: 142

Height: 4'5"

Weight: Light

Hair Colour: Black

Eye Colour: Blue

Race: Shinigami

Rank: Unseated

Spiritual Energy Colour: Orange

Personality: Yoshimitsu has an iron will but a non-confrontational attitude. Loud noises startle him easily but he's not quick to run away unless the situation is hopeless. Yoshimitsu isn't exactly outgoing but he can communicate information well when the situation calls for it.

History: Yoshimitsu does not have a notable childhood. He admired the Seireitei and wanted to be a part of the organization out of wonder.

Other: He occasionally seems to jitter.

Zanpakuto name: Emerald Star (Suigyoku Etowaaru)

Type: Kido(?)

Sealed appearance: Standard Katana with a green piece of string about 2 feet long tied around the hilt.

Zanpakuto Shikai Release command: Shine for all to see.

Spirit Appearance: A humanoid made of what appear to be large rough chunks of vibrant green emerald, each at least 3 inches in diameter, with larger chunks comprising the 'musculature' such as the biceps and pectoral muscles. There are no physical connections between each piece aside from them occasionally rubbing together. A single chunk of emerald with 3 sockets that appear to be eye holes rests upon the stone that resembles the neck, each socket glowing with a different primary color; red to the left, blue to the right, yellow on what would be the forehead. Draped in a loose, golden robe that would cover the essentials on a normal human, it hovers

Inner world: A small isle with golden sands surrounded by an endless emerald sea. There rests a giant pillar in the center of the island that reaches up further than the naked eye can see. Atop the pillar is the same island, surrounded by the same green ocean. The water is very shallow, but cannot be seen entirely through.

Shikai appearance: A silver metallic-looking whip extends from an emerald-colored hilt. Despite being flaccid and free-moving, it manages to be sharp from any angle it strikes, and slices foes with what appears to be a round edge. The blade extends when used in a whip-like fashion.

Bankai appearance: Not Achieved

Shikai skills:

1. Silver Wind (A spinning motion of the blade over Kurono's head causes the Zanpakuto's silver edge to create the appearance of a silver dome around him. Any flesh that touches the dome is flayed.)
2. Extending Whip (When held behind the wielder's head and swung forward, the whip seems to extend a mile as it crashes to the earth, or as it strikes the body of an unforunate victim)

The blade's cutting edge is dependent on the wielder's will, and can be 'turned off' in a way. As such, the flexible nature of the Zanpakuto can be used in a manner of ways, such as stretching out to trip an escaping foe or to tie around someone's wrist.

At a distance from behind a tree, Kurono watched the two Shinigami sparring. Not a year into his enrollment in the academy and he was already sneaking off to be the one-man audience of a fight between two of the protectors of the dead. Crap in a hand-basket, I can't tell if this is friendly anymore! he thought to himself, wide eyed in anticipation of the next move. I really should get back to the barracks... his brain murmured, and as such his body refused to yield. The spectacle was too great already. In fact, Kurono was so entranced that he completely forgot to mask his presence.
