That would be great~! Thank you!
Who is looking to join the Warband~?
Upon arriving in Olympus' main hall, Cynbel transformed back into his usual form. He didn't really like shapeshifting into a bird much, but Ravens were kind of his thing, so he'd feel pretty weird turning into anything else. At least, for casual flying needs. He'd transform into whatever was needed.

There was no time to think about how much he hated being a Raven, it was time to get his war band together to defeat this beast. Cynbel took a deep breath, and began to yell as loud as he could, alerting all who would be at Olympus.

" Everybody with divine blood is to report here right now! Anybody who does not report will be arrested for treason, locked up, and will be put on trail once what needs to be done is done! With the death of Kali, Sithilerine has broken free! I am getting everybody together, and we're going down to kill him once and for all! This is not a drill, I repeat, this is not a drill! "

Cynbel would only give them a minute, maybe two if enough people didn't show up. This was a very serious matter, and the rest should know just how serious it was. This would be their first test as the new generation, and he hoped his peers would be up to the challenge. They really hadn't done much of a good job before this. They'd also have to kill a beast that their parents decided to lock up instead of kill. And he was sure they weren't as strong as their parents yet.

Cynbel wish he kept that chalice, he really needed another drink.

The hearing of the beast's roar was the least thing Cynbel wanted to hear today. It was bad enough he had to deal with his peers, and show up to this stupid trial. He should have seen the beast's return coming, given that Kali was no longer around to make sure it didn't get too antsy. Cythlla seemed to be getting what she wanted, which only further irritated Cynbel.

He needed a drink.

Odin wanted Cythlla locked up for now, which was reasonable, especially given the fight at hand. He had other, more important things to do than deal with her. There was a giant beast which was free, who was going to bring the Apocalypse to all. This was far more concerning than a mad little girl being a brat.

As the Valkyries began to set the tables back up, Cynbel grabbed one of the chalices, and chugged what he could before placing it back down on the table. This was going to be a long day, and he needed something to keep him going.

" I'm going to go alert the others, bring together a warband, and deal with Sithilerine. You two lock her up in Olympus, I'll decide what to do after. Good luck. "

Cynbel transformed into a Raven, and flew off towards Olympus. Hopefully, his peers would actually listen to him this time. He was a God of War, the most qualified person to deal with this battle. As long as they followed his commands to a T, the beast would be dealt with, and for good this time.

Victory.

Usually, Godelvia would be happy after a victory, but this felt more of a loss to her. She lost 3 precious friends, that wouldn't have died if she didn't assume that there would be good help. She would of course take partial blame, but she couldn't deny that only an idiot would hire such useless men. There would be a funeral when the time was right, they deserved that much for gallantly fighting to their death.

" Well done men! You will all be given extra food tonight, as well higher quality food when he dock!"

Supporting her animals were crucial. They were the back bone of her power, and treating them unfairly would do nothing but hurt her. It would only be appropriate that she promised them better food, as the flesh of pirates could only be so tasty. They would get an elegant dinner when they arrived at their destination.

Goldevia also felt inclined to congratulate, and thank her fellow Valkyries, soldiers, and the priestess. They performed valiantly, and they deserved recognition. The oarsmen and hired men were terrible, and whoever hired them she really reconsider what they are doing with their lives.

" Good job Amelia, and Kára. I am sure the All-Father is proud of you. You Roman soldiers, you live up to the tales told about you. And you, Priestess girl, I do not know much about you, but for a girl at your age, you fought with the skill and determination of a veteran. "

Goldevia might have praised the priestess girl a tad too much, but she deserved compliments. It was rare for a little girl to walk into combat, and still stay somewhat mature about it. The hired men should feel pathetic, a little girl was handling battle much better than they were.

L-lewd
" Yes, she did kill a god. That in itself isn't very significant, but think a little bit harder. Kali kept order, and made sure being such as the Rakshasa didn't go around slaughtering everyone. As Odin said, I doubt Cythlla is up to the task, nor would do I think she should be doing it. We will probably have to figure something out regarding this 'enforcer' position. "

Cynbel was just going into a rant at this point. Kali was an extremely important goddess, one of the key parts in making sure humanity wasn't getting killed left and right by demons. This girl didn't think of anything beyond herself, nothing about the natural order of the world. Hopefully, they'd find some kind of replacement for Kali, at least for a short period of time.

"I'm sorry, I got into a rant. She broke the rules, engendered humanity, and seems to be plotting a coup of some sort. Even if you disregard the last part, she is certainly guilty. "

. . .

Three of her animals were killed.

This took a Godelvia a moment to process. There was no reason for them to die, especially in such a brutal fashion. She was sure they'd become well respected in death, but it couldn't bring them back. A tear would have been shed if she wasn't in the middle of battle. The pain only became worse when she realized they would have lived if only the oarsman and hired help weren't incompetent. This was enough of a case to kill them, but she couldn't do it. They were needed to survive the attack, and doing anything too bad to them would only make the mission more difficult. Once the mission was over however, she'd dedicate what she could to make their lives miserable.

She would make sure a grand funeral was had.

After taking a moment to regroup herself, and listening to Amelia's order, Goldevia took command of her three renaming animals, pulled them back, and began to reassess the situation. There was a second ship, and while the trained soldiers were impressive, she was sure they couldn't last forever. The first ship was already a mess, and she wasn't willing to risk more of her pets. She couldn't let more of her precious pets die for something so idiotic. She would assist the soldiers, at least making sure the pirates on that side didn't go out of control. She flew back down the deck of the ship, and began to bark orders at her animals. Her voice was far more shaky than usual, but she hoped the message would get across

" I am sorry for the loss of your comrades, I expected better help! We will avenge them by killing all of these pathetic pirates! I want you to cover the soldiers on that end! If anyone slips through their protection, rip them apart! I will be there fighting with you this time! "

Godelvia followed after her animals, wielding her lance tightly in her hand. She wasn't the best in combat, but a Valkyrie could never lose to this kind of scum. If anybody got through the legionnaires forces, they'd have to deal with her, and her pack of animals. Hopefully, they'd win this battle by attrition.
" Are you deaf? Blind? Or just ignorant? "

Cynbel wasn't in the mood to play around, and Conner wasn't exactly helping. He understood where Conner was coming from, but that is only because he expect Conner to not think any of it through. It was also beyond irritating that he outright ignored his order, which may not mean much, but directly disobeying a God of War when it came to conflict was just being rude.

" Have you ever known Brahma to be the type to use violence? There is no better negotiator than Brahma, as he will always do what is the most peaceful solution if it can end peacefully. If it got violent, then I'd just deal with her myself. Do not disrespect me like that again, especially in front of others. "

It was bad enough that Cynbel was neutral to Conner, but him believing he could help Brahma in a negotiation, undervaluing Cynbel's strength, and outright not ignoring Cynbel's previous demand was more than enough to make him vocal. He was still pretty neutral about Conner, despite this.

It was nice to know that Cythlla was going to go willingly, but Cynbel wasn't sure if she would try to escape on the way there. He figured it was going to be difficult, especially since 3 of Brahma's heads seemed to be going crazy. That probably wasn't too normal, but he didn't really get the Hindu pantheon that well.

" Anyway, we should get go-"

And then he was at Odin's domain with Cythlla and Brahma. It seemed like Brahma's heads were just channeling one of his Astras, not that Cynbel was sure which one it was. They all sounded the same to him.

He honestly didn't mind the company of Odin, for the same reason he didn't mind Brahma's. They just kind of did their own thing, which included their job. Cynbel wished those of his own generation could follow after them to some degree. Instead of acting like self entitled little brats, they could remember what they were supposed to be. Speaking of those from his generation, both Mithias and Kilgaris appeared.

" Not really, but asking about it, then explaining how you already knew our answers makes you pretty pretentious. But, you already knew I'd say that, so no point in saying it, right? "

Cynbel wasn't in a very good mood. Conner kind of ruined that, but Mithias already knew that.

Cythlla began to speak up, though she was only speaking to those who didn't care. Well, maybe Kilgaris cared, but he was pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

" Cythlla, I think you have the wrong impression of me. If I have to kill, I'll do it. I don't see what I gain from killing them, other than to feel good about myself. Sadly, I don't think I'd get that. You're trying to push your agenda, which any of us will do, but your means will never get you to your goal. Then again, I guess a god of 'madness' isn't very rational. "

Oh, the trial was starting. Cynbel took his seat, and wished Brahma took him along for another ride.

Godelvia was partially happy that pirates had taken an interest in them, it ended the awkward conversation. She would have to get her elite army of animals ready by the time they approached the boat, as well as make sure Revi was in a safe location. Jocasta, well, she could fly so she was probably fine.

With Revi safe below the deck, and her lions and boars brought to the surface, Godelvia felt it would only be appropriate to pep her soldiers, just the same as Amelia rallied her own.

" This is a bit different than the usual battleground, but I believe in your abilities! You can't be beat by these pathetic pirates! Now go, attack those who have just entered the ship! Fight like my life depends on it! "

When the pirates began to board, 3 boars and 3 lions headed into the fray of combat, looking to maim all those who would had recently entered the ship. Hopefully, they weren't prepared for this kind of backup. Godelvia herself released her wings, and took flight high above the ship. She had no problem actually fighting, but she wanted to compare the enemy forces to their own, as well as see what the second ship was loaded with.
