Why does saying "I love you" have to have so many romantic connotations? There are so many people I love in a way seperate from anything romantic. <3

Bio

A thing that will die after eating rat poison

But really, a guy that likes to RP. Not too keen on sharing personal info in my bio, but after I get to know you, I may open up a bit more in regards to certain things.

I have been roleplaying for most of my life, but forum RP is newer to me than tabletop. I wanted something to do to kill time without putting wayyyy too many hours into Dark Souls 3.

I love music, historical fencing and re enactment, making shit, and just being cool with people. Talk any of these things with me, and you'll be cool with me. I have very strong thoughts on sandwiches. Ask if you dare.

Here's a list of cool people from this site that are just cool people that I enjoy talking with, and a quote from each of them. In no particular order, here they are:

@Goldeagle1221
"What the shit?"

@TheGrundlesnart
"Don't quote me."

@MissCapnCrunch
"Rodent is a little shit, I want to beat him up but in the most loving way"

@Rultaos
"If you're feeling unimportant, always remember that every protagonist was an NPC before their most important story began"

@iTem
"haha yeah"

@Sirkaithethird
"I'm just running an aux through my amp, Playing Van Halen at 05:50"

And that's that. There's not much else I feel like saying. Here's a list of bands I like (to be made soon)

Low-effort shitposting combat scenarios! Love it.

I reckon add flair if you feel like you can, but it's no biggie if you don't
@Cerces22

I vote #TeamEdgelords should be the team name.
That's all the way what I was thinking.

Also why do we tag each other in these? It's not like there's much mystery around who we're talking to
@Delta44

Maybe we should just stop writing lavishly for these. Use our creative juices elsewhere? Obviously with description, but less unnecessary things
@Menhir OOoh, yeas. It sounds like a very interesting system that I'd like to play sometime.

Though I probably won't use it here, as dicepool systems seem awkward to pull off over internet. You never know, though. I might find something that'd work really well in there

Three started the the mention of a war, and abilities. He began to say something, but Nine was off before he had a chance. Two left as well, and honestly, Three didn't like the idea of being in the same room as a fight either. Especially when the fighters were in much better physical condition than himself. And so, with a shrug, he followed the group. The hallways were similar to the previous room. Kinda boring. The endpoint was only vaguely more interesting. He took a brief look a the chest marked '3', looked at his forearm, and concluded that he'd need something to break the lock. He didn't know how to pick locks.

He looked around. This being a storeroom there were plenty of things to break the lock with. For instance, a sledgehammer. He swung the hammer in a large arc, and the lock clattered to the floor with enough force to chip the cement flooring. He kicked open the box, not wanting to bother with bending over. At least, not until he saw the contents.

"Oooohohohoho.... Look at this beauty." He said, to nobody in particular.

On top there was a full length Longbow, and a quiver full of arrows about 1 meter in length. The bow was unstrung to preserve the arms, which were made of yew. He unwound the string from the arms, braced one end on his foot, with the other going in a diagonal line over his back. He reached up, higher than head height, and flexed the bow back with the strength of his full body. Having strung the bow, it was almost as tall as him. He was satisfied that if he could string it he could draw it, so he just unstrung it. He took a moment to ponder how he knew to do all of this, but reasoned that the answers would be in the chest.

He slipped the quiver on his belt around his waist, and checked the chest again. There was a heavy woolen coat, a large knife, and a backpack. He donned the coat, and checked the backpack. Judging from the contents he was some kind of forest ranger. Cool. He strapped the knife on his belt, just in front of his quiver.

He was happy with what he had, and relieved that he had reclaimed some of his identity.

He had no idea why she was laughing, he had been totally serious. He wasn't objecting, though. Laughter is a great thing. He listened to what she had to say before responding.

"I'd extend that to everybody, rather than just students. Complacency and contentment are the true negative attributes. Anger, sadness, suffering... they're necessary to motivate us to improve. Without them, we'd fizzle." He started off sounding rather enthusiastic, but grew into a more serious tone the further he went.

Now, Ceiran was used to weird things happening, but this almost took the cake (nothing would be more odd than sharing your body with a demon). The space around them seemed off somehow. He couldn't place his finger on it, though. On top of that, Ms Mako seemed genuinely concerned, which was a nice contrast from the contempt he'd grown used to.

"You're a member of staff, right? Well... I officially notify you. Sorry, this isn't really something I like to talk about." He said this with a slightly resigned tone, like someone who's had to explain something too many times. He started to get up to go before realising she'd just told the whole table his secret. He turned his head towards her and raised a questioning eyebrow. He judged that the best thing to say was nothing. She knew her shit, and probably wasn't reckless enough to do something like that.

Sorry for the delay, I've been feeling excruciatingly uncreative the last few days. Still hasn't worn off yet, so it's a kinda shitty post, but I reckon it gets what I want to do across well enough.
Izayoi turned and ran, smacking Jacques with his club on his way out. Jacques wasn't very happy with his situation. He needed to get out of there, so on a whim, he sprinted after Izayoi.

Just as he got past the Man-Wolves, he summoned a Sturdy Sentry behind him. He ordered it to hold off the wolves, using its sword this time, and focus on defense.

He ran across the swamp, using his familiarity with swamps to outrun Izayoi. While he's running, he summons two Arcane Longswords, and prepares to parry with one. With the other one he attacks Izayoi from behind, swinging low, towards the legs. He wanted to send Izayoi face-down in the mud, but he'd take anything at this point.

He didn't want to use his last sword, so called forth a Battle Halberd instead, opting for a gravity-assisted downwards swing if Izayoi fell over with the leg slash.

As a final action, he brings his other Arcane longsword in a swing.

  • Jacques pursues Izayoi through the swamp, using another Sturdy Sentry for breif cover.
  • Jacques plays two Arcane Longswords. He holds one for parrying, and swings at Izayoi's legs with the other one.
  • Jacques plays a Battle Halberd, attacking Izayoi with it.
  • Jacques attacks with the last Arcane Longsword after everything else has happened.
@Duthguy

I've never played it either, so I don't know anything about its rules unfortunately.
