@Raddum: I'm actually making a zebra right now. Specifically one with an interest (verging on obsession) with dangerous creatures. Well, she likes the less dangerous ones too but they aren't as interesting. I'm half-way done with the bio, and I need a name...
Idan stabbed forwards with his dagger, catching the skeleton between the ribs and stepped to the side, trying to drag the skeleton into his previous location just at the edge of the cliff. Rocks and dirt tumbled to the ground, and Idan was dangerously close to falling, but the maneuver worked out and now both he and his opponent were to close to the edge. The ground had begun to shake, and both Idan and the skeleton stumbled, luckily towards the edge but away from each other. Idan recovered first and kicked out at the skeleton, his foot connecting with the pelvis. The skeleton fell back and it's sword arm slammed against the edge of the cliff and it fell down to the ground, leaving the skeleton weaponless. He turned, catching a glimpse of the thing that was pulling itself from the cliffside. He shuddered. Was this the work of some sorcerer? Or was something else at work here? No mortal should be able to call up a monstrosity like that.

Emilia had been coming to assist him, but had now found herself on the ground, winded. He cursed. Things were suddenly looking much worse than they had when it was just skeletons they were fighting.

"Those not cursed with the dark sign, move quickly, get out of here," the undead began. Idan listened as he made his way towards the future fire-keeper, keeping the remaining skeletons at bay with his blade. It was true that the undead would carry on if he were slain... But if he was not mistaken, did death not take a toll on the undead's sanity? Every death was a step closer to becoming Hollow. Though... There weren't many options left. He knelt down and helped Emilia up to her feet.

"It is your choice, fire-keeper. Do we flee?"
I suppose we could make do with the three of us? We could bump the interest check to see if anyone else wants to join. Also, I'll have Itan finished tomorrow.
Augh, now I have to decide between Unicorn, Zebra, and Deer. I'm thinking unicorn since I don't have any actual ideas for the other two... I'll start up a sheet for the unicorn, and if inspiration suddenly hits for one of the other two I'll go ahead and switch, though I'll keep the unicorn around if I decide to have two characters.
Should I throw up a post since none of the others seem to be showing up?
This looks like it could be pretty interesting.

As a totally unrelated side note, Raddum you're giving me nightmares.
"Yeah, yeah. Will do," Rainman said. He turned around and wandered back towards the Quartermaster's office while flipping through the clipboard. There ought to be papers somewhere, though it's quite possible that someone just sneaked her on without even bothering to try covering it up. He shrugged and pushed the door to the office open and entered. "Hey, boss. You got anymore paperwork? We, uh... We found a woman in one of the crates."

The Quartermaster gave Rainman an odd look then looked back to a paper on his desk. "You know, something did look off. Say, how many crates did you boys count up?" he asked, leaning back and setting his feet on the desk. Rainman consulted his own clipboard then looked back at the Quartermaster.

"Uh, exactly 84. Same as the papers." Rainman replied. The Quartermaster frowned and bit his lip. He stood up suddenly and walked past Rainman to peer outside, presumably to see the woman, than returned to his desk where he shifted papers around with an increasing frustrated look on his face.

"You might want to try counting again, Alex. I've got 83. Anything on the crate?" Rainman's eye twitched at the use of his real name but he just shook his head. "Does the name 'Samuel Thaddeus' mean anything to you?"

"Er, no?" Rainman looked up curiously at the quartermaster. The Quartermaster handed Rainman another paper and leaned back while Rainman looked over it, his expression looking increasingly confused.

"Who the hell would order a crate filled with just playing cards? It's like they weren't even trying. How'd we miss this? Gods, at this rate they'll fire me." the Quartermaster complained, spinning his chair around. Rainman said nothing and left the room, the order forms for hundreds of packs of playing cards in his hands.
Mmmk, it'll up shortly.
Argh, I'm sorry I didn't get the post up last time but I have a post mostly written up right now (though it's on the shorter side). Ermine, what should be on the paperwork Rainman finds, if any?
Well there's one. Hopefully this gets more, though I could see this working as a one-on-one.
