The important question: Do you get paid for that time?

Most. I do the majority of it with the IA facilities I have access to.

Okay, so now it's your turn.

You really want to know? Alrighty then. Mondays I do strength training. Lift weights and all that. Tuesdays I rest my body and do perception training, and I do things like movement tracking exercises and simulations of scenarios like investigations or tracking. Wednesdays I do endurance training and I go for intense cardio, as well as supplementing the strength training by doing moderate lifts that I maintain for longer. Thursdays I rest muscles again and purely do things such as stretches and acrobatics. Fridays I train, believe it or not, muscle memory. Practice various techniques on repeat. I take weekends off and mostly just get exercise from actual work on those days.

Maybe combat intuition is the short way to say it. The better that gets, the stronger we are.

*Strokes my chin*
Right, right.

*Shrugs*
I thought it sounded pretty good.

I just ask out of curiosity more than anything. I get what you're saying though, just for the record.
<Snipped quote by Stratocracy>

Sure, but again. We don’t have muscles.

When I say that, I mean it more as a concept than a literal function. If people have muscle memory too, just like you, then is it really an analog to muscle development? That's what I'm just poking at a bit.
<Snipped quote by Stratocracy>

Right, think of that but with the skill you develop from training. In a weird way, you could say that muscle memory is our muscle growth.

Even though muscle memory is also just its own thing?
<Snipped quote by Stratocracy>

You know how when you work out, it becomes a part of you, sort of? One day you show up, stronger than the day before, and that stronger you is incorporated into who you are?

That’s an incredibly introspective way to describe it but yeah.
<Snipped quote by Stratocracy>

Training is all about information. The better you understand combat, the more effective you'll be in a battle. But for us, that sort of knowledge is much more visceral and indwelt.

Forgive me but I can’t imagine what “visceral knowledge” means. Unless you’re talking about being as brutal as possible when exploiting someone’s weakness.
<Snipped quote by Stratocracy>

I’m curious. We don’t have muscles to work out, so it looks a little different for navis.

Looks different?

Is this a bad time?

It’s just not a short answer.
