I appreciate that, I do. And I could say a lot, about how I have been prepared by the best in the business for this, and about how I could live with the regret of being a coward about it way less than going in. But here’s the thing, three was the perfect number. At any given point, one of us was running defense against Misty, and one of us was helping Misty, and the third was keeping Eclipse safe. That’s about as well oiled a machine as we could ask for, don’t you think? Knowing what I know now, I don’t think any of us make it out without one of the others.

It would have been crazy to let her go in without helping, especially knowing where she was trying to go. And believe me, I never wanted it to happen to begin with. Plan B was helping, because Plan A of not going in at all fell through.
