Bio

My Character Sheets | Santa Somabra | Maximum Comics | Verthaven | These roleplays are from roughly 2 years ago.

Hello all! I'm an Advanced RPer. I've been RPing for quite a while now...since I was a kid. I'm expecting a Bachelors in English this coming May (don't ask how; my skill as a creative writer has taken a seemingly irreparable blow after an encounter with major depression) as well as a minor in Psychology. I am an avid animal lover, photographer, and writer. I do a restricted amount of dabbling in drawing and painting.

About two years ago, I stopped using RP guild. It was for a myriad of reasons, but the topmost ones are major depression, the passing of my parrot (pictured as my banner at the top of my bio), and a relationship issue.

I'm back now!

Roleplaying always kept me at the top of my literate game. My vocabulary took a huge blow during my depression, and I'm eager to refine it. I've spent the last two years fixing my life, and I'd love for roleplaying to be an active part of my daily routine again!

Types of literature I'm interested in (in order of interest):
-Adult Fiction
-Science Fiction
-Fantasy
-Thriller
-Manga

My general interests and hobbies:
-Reading
-Writing
-Animal Welfare and Rights
-People Welfare and Rights
-Drawing (Amateur)
-Video Games
-Photography

Hey all. Was very busy this week. The vacation month just ended so literally all of my professors have gone euphoric and given us an insane amount of work. I'll try and get a post in tonight or tomorrow, but right now I've got a lot of homework that I kind of want to get out of the way so I can stress less about it.

As for why werewolves dominate Western and European cultures. To me, I always though of it as being the human connection with dogs, which is by far, the strongest of all animal-people co-evolutionary relationships. We've shaped dogs so greatly that they can read our facial features, which is no small task for an animal whose face, anatomically, is quite different from ours. And here in America, this connection seems pretty emphasized. "Everyone" always wants a dog. The nuclear American family goal is to have a beautiful golden retriever. Wolves provide a familiar, but 'stronger' form of the dog, though I'd go out on a limb to say we've bred some pretty big livestock guardians that would give a wolf a run for its money. And more people tend to like dogs than cats (and that's probably a socially influenced thing). Since I have no preference for either, and view both as perfectly beautiful human companions and fluffy babies, I think its one of the dumbest showdowns humanity ever created. But, it does ring true that most people I've met-friend, stranger, acquaintance-have preferred, though not necessarily actually liked, dogs over cats.

Trust me when I say, plenty of people who love werewolves know very little werewolf lore beyond the full moon or the silver bullets. I actually include myself among these people, but my desire to roleplay animals (which has died down, admittedly due to the furry fandom; sorry to furries, but I'm not comfortable being associated with that group just from enjoyment of online roleplaying anthro animals) stemmed from a love of animal life and nature, as opposed to mythology or lore. I'm sure a lot of other people come from the same background as me, and just enjoy playing werewolves for that particular reason, especially since they tend to be less associated with furries, and more socially acceptable. I myself used to occasionally extend beyond werewolves, but today, since they're the most easily accepted, I tend to stick to werewolves (not that I don't like them do; I love 'em!). I have joined and read extremely wonderful multi-animal anthro rps before, but not since childhood. Either way, they do exist, but coming from the perspective I do, I think the werewolf's social acceptance also plays a role in its popularity.
Also, she reproduces like a Surinam Toad. Have fun. :)

Well, I'm having nightmares tonight
Last time Allen and I were together we started like six pages of shitpost about tentacle porn and lobsters.

I can't wait to see what this thread produces.

On another note:
If you guys want to have any preexisting relations with any of my characters, gimme a shout.
Mr Allen J

I read over everyone's character prior to writing mine up...no, no, no. It's more like I skimmed. A lot of writing to go over. I'll read into the details of everyone tonight/tomorrow, but if anyone thinks they've got an idea for a relationship between our characters, please hit me up.

On another grievance along the lines of "so edgy you're making me bleed" characters, I already dislike the basis of those characters, first of all, and then, more specifically, I feel their sharp pain every time someone writes in an "Extras" section or a "Hidden Aspects" section that the aforementioned Edgy McEdgepants is actually a giant teddy bear who loves people with all of his giant teddy bear heart, but because his body is made of diamond-edged razors he tends to be misunderstood by those around him, something which cuts his heart so deeply he is eternally hemorrhaging inside, so his agony is twofold and very badass.

Sometimes, I'm so touched by their depth that I cry black tears for those kinds of characters.

A truly accurate, inspirational, and poetic description.

On a serious note, word. Too bad people, for all of eternity, will always be creating these types of characters.
You must report to my kink chamber at once.

Fuck off Allen you're not even my real mom
