Spark found the idea of carrying a gun unsettling, she was reluctant enough to have the knife attached to her leg. It felt strange strapped there, her right leg always held her pipbuck while her left was usually free. Having them both covered felt...odd but she appreciated the gesture from Sound.

Spark wrapped her hooves tightly around him before he left.
"Thank you so much, for everything Sound. I'm glad there's at least somepony nice I can talk to. I'm going to sit in the passenger cart, for a while at least... I'm tired and I'd like to get some sleep" she glanced around at the other guards before adding with a small smile. "Look after yourself too. I don't want to have to patch you up because of something silly"

As Sound trotted off, she felt a small tug to follow him but fought against it. It would be best to get some proper sleep incase something happened and they needed her.

With a soft sigh, Spark turned towards the passenger cart and looked at the ponies sat onboard. She didn't recognised any of them but she spotted the guitarist from the night before talking to somepony she didn't recognise on the cart behind. Maybe he'd play some music? She hoped he would, it would be a nice distraction and she'd enjoyed it the night before.
Everypony else was sat talking amongst themselves quietly. A little hesitantly she climbed onboard taking up an empty space and deposited her bags in front of her. With Sound gone, she drew her hood up again and sat silently waiting for the caravan to leave.
Oh, right ^^;
I'll have a post up by the end of the day... Possibly in a few hours...
*Confused look*
It's not that bad ^-^
Hmm, I don't know whether I should post now or wait until Zaresto has. Now we're all together I don't want to go rushing on ^^;
I'm still here, waiting on you two ^-^
Spark was surprised when Sound sprinted past her but a little grin crossed her face. So it was a race? She lowered her own head slightly and was just about to break into a full on gallop when Sound spun and hooked her onto his back. She couldn’t help letting out a little yelp of surprise as she suddenly found herself being carried. It wasn’t the most graceful or comfortable way to travel, she could feel the impact of Sounds hooves on the ground with each step the Stallion took.

When they finally arrived, she slid off with a little groan of discomfort… That was not her preferred way to get around. With a quick glance around she noticed a few of the caravaners were giving the pair of them glances and her face quickly reddened in embarrassment. Sound seemed to sense that he’d made a mistake and gave her a nuzzle and hug which she accepted a little reluctantly. It wasn’t that she was annoyed with him, well she was a slightly, but it was more that she worried what the others would think of them.

“It’s fine” she murmured at last “I chose where we were going to eat, it was only fair that I paid”

She continued to watch the other caravaners warily but most of them had gone back to their own business and were now ignoring them. She did recognize the large stallion and the thestral from the tavern as well as the blue unicorn and the guitar playing pony from the night before. It didn’t look like they were quite ready to leave yet so at least they hadn’t been holding the caravan up.

“What should we do now?” She asked Sound feeling unsure.
Happy that Sound was impressed by the food, Spark levitated over a few vegetables and slowly set to work eating her salad. She couldn’t help but laugh a little when the stallion burned his mouth on the soup. Experience had taught her to eat the salad first and leave the soup to cool down. While Sound was wolfing his food down, Spark was taking the time to enjoy the taste. By the time she had finished her salad Sound had finished everything. Somewhat surprised by his impressive… though somewhat messy eating speed, Spark made an effort to speed up.

At last they had both finished their meals and Spark couldn’t help but stifle a yawn. She was starting to feel the tiredness from the night before more than ever thanks to the warmth of the room. Resting her head on a forehoof she glanced at the pipbuck on the other. With a surprised squeak she realized they were going to be late if they didn’t leave now!

“We need to be a the meeting point!” She exclaimed.

Spark stepped off the chair, pulling out the caps to pay for their meal and levitating the bowls and plates off the table, She deposited them on the kitchen counter along with the caps for both their meals and quickly made her way out the door calling her thanks to Big Cook as she did so.

“We better hurry!” Spark panicked “Oh, I hope they don’t think we took the money and left”

She broke into a quick trot towards the caravans meeting point.
That's ok Shoryu ^-^
Take your time, we'll still be here!
Spark pulled a face unsure exactly how to respond. She didn't exactly try to be shy, it was just a feeling she got being around ponies she didn't know to well. She'd already taken quite a leap talking to Sound considering they'd only met the previous evening...

"I... I don't know how..." She replied with a worried look, "But if you think I need to learn then I'll try my best"

Spark couldn't quite hide the reluctance in her voice. She knew that she would likely have to defend herself sometime but all the same... she had spent her life helping ponies not hurting them.

Her chain of thought was interrupted by the arrival of their meals. A bowl of soup filled with delicious looking, fresh vegetables was placed before each of them and sided with a plate of salad. Spark had to resist the sudden urge to squee at the sight suddenly realising just how hungry she was. She had no idea where the food came from and Cook refused to give up the secret and simply told her "paradise" hence the name.

Not wanting to seem rude by eating during their conversation, Spark looked to Sound to see what he thought of the food and if he had anything else to say. They'd have to eat pretty fast, the caravan would be leaving soon and they had to eat and walk back to the meeting point.
