"Eight PM tonight.."
Merueid nodded to herself, having left within the crowd of other angels but going fairly unnoticed. To be fair, all were unnoticed to each other- anyone who wasn't friends with another prior to this surely wouldn't be friends now, considering the short timespan between the two. Well, for most, anyway. Most angels waited until the last moment to enroll. Most angels were forced to enroll by those of a higher triad, class, or even age- when considering relativity, that is. Most angels showed up even today looking seemingly sluggish, lazy, and far too irritated for even a mortal with half a brain to think they actually wanted to be here.
Merueid was not most angels.
That's the thing about Angel Academy- in a sense it's just like any college, though one would be, in either retrospect or hindsight, unintelligent to believe it is anything like that on a deeper level.
Merueid, as any angel should, knew well what one of the biggest fundamental focuses of Angel Academy was- growth. This was something she had initially prepared for, readied herself to always be punctual, pristine and at top marks.
Considering her past, did she really have any other choice..?
Well, yes, of course, but that is not at all the way she felt.
Despite having practically drowned herself in the multitudinous plethora of her own thought processes, she found her eye gazing at the file she held. There was no reason to check it now, she felt, so she kept it at her side, and her curiosity in check as she headed to her class- Human Studies.
She could only wonder how it would all go from here.
