Personality Anelise has a pleasant personality. She wouldn't call herself overly charismatic, but she has a warm air around her, that attracts people who are in need of comfort. Gregarious from birth, she welcomes others into her life, and catches on to changes in the demeanor of others. Though she's often happy and kind, she's no pushover. When the divorce was finalized, she began being bullied. The bullies soon saw the error of their ways, though, as she fought back with harsh, intricate words and an attitude that surprised even the teachers. After the matter was resolved, though, she went back to her usual self. No one has bothered her since.
Biography Anelise was born on a breezy autumn day. Her mother was a Familiar, unemployed at the time, and a subject of hushed whispers among the uptight mage community her father had been raised in. It was that day the denizens of the neighborhood softened up to Anelise’s mother, as she flaunted the wrinkled newborn with a sense of pride. Two days after the decidedly joyous occasion, Anelise would make her first trip to the lavish townhouse she would know as home. As the years passed, Anelise grew up alongside her peers. Her mother made more friends throughout their community, and her father made the sparse moments they shared quite special.
It was a year before Anelise started school that her storybook life began crumbling around her. One of her mother's closest male ‘friends' visited more and more frequently. He was rich, even more so than her father. He was also full of charm, and called Anelise princess at times. What disturbed Anelise the most, however, was his mother's interest in showing him their bedroom when her father wasn't around. She told her father one evening as he was reading her a bedtime story, and while his face fell, he seemed unsurprised. He explained to her that night, things were about to change, and change they would.
The divorce was bloody, her mother -who had packed her bags and partially moved in with her boyfriend the day her father suggested divorce- constantly bickered with her father. On the day of court, she screamed incessantly that Anelise’s father was unfit for custody. Her father, calm and collected as usual, eventually won the case. He acquired full custody over Anelise, though he agreed that on holidays she would be allowed to go out with her mother. Life went more smoothly from then on, though Anelise was often lonely in her home. She had a nanny, but even she came and went. She participated in after school activities, but when she went home she was surrounded by quiet. She never really enjoyed it, but rather got accustomed to It. To make the house louder, and preserve her sanity, she would blast the stereo and sing.
At the ripe age of fourteen, her father decided enough was enough. He didn't want his daughter to become introverted, and it was about this age when he himself joined the Academy. After pulling a few strings, and convincing Anelise that this was the right thing, she was accepted. She was in love with the place, and at the end of her first year she decided she would love to attend yet again.

Miscellaneous Anelise has a voice full of soul. The songs she sings are usually smooth and melodious, chock full of raw emotion with high notes that need to be held just the right way to really impact the song. They fit her deep, powerful voice well. With more professional practice, she could probably make a name for herself, but she doesn't wish to pursue a career in music.

1. What is your character's dream career? -Anelise wishes to pursue a future in law. She would rather be a detective however, than someone with an office job like her father, who works as a lawyer.

3. Your character finds out someone close to them has been lying to them. How do they react? -She would discuss the issue with said person, and depending on what they were lying about, she would forgive them.
4. If your character were given $50, what would they do with it? -She would save it, and perhaps in the future she'd find something worthy of spending it on.

What do they do? -After looking for it to no avail, Anelise would offer to make it up to the person. She would likely take them out, to spend the day shopping and having a good time. She would also offer to buy a replacement.
6. Your character is given the chance to perfect any one talent. What do they choose? -She would choose singing, it is her favorite pastime.
7. What is your character’s favourite book or movie genre? Why? -She loves a good mystery, the intrigue and danger of these stories always charmed her. She would be content if she were sat down in a library with nothing but mystery books to choose from.
8. Who does your character admire/look up to? -She looks up to her father, a hard-working man like him deserves to be admired.
Hey, I just wanted to let you know that your RP looks very interesting and I would love to fill out an application. However, since I can't seem to decide whether or not I want to make a Familiar or a Mage, I was wondering if there are any spots that need to be filled.
