An Owl that was camouflaging on top of the tree next to thurnis turn its neck around and looks at him, Thurnis realizes theres an owl in front of him
"OH! GEEZ! u scared me!"
The owl makes a sound and slaps Thurnis on the face with its wing

Thurnis slaps back the owl, the owl smacks him again and Thurnis smacks it back. They keep on going slapping each other.

Thurnis looks at the little girl then looks at the duck, the duck quacks positively
"Sure here you go make sure to keep h...umm...im not sure if its a he or a she..."
The duck quacks once at Thurnis
"Male?"
The duck quacks positively
"ah thank you....yeah make sure you keep him warm his poor feathers are gone thanks to that T-rex...hope it didn't scare you"
As soon as Thurnis puts the duck on her hands he vanished/teleported to the top of a tree that luckily is close to where they are

Thurnis whispers to the duck
"Did I just hear their conversation without him moving his mouth?"
The duck looks at Thurnis confused and Thurnis whispers to the duck again
"Maybe they can communicate telepathically?"
The duck whispers a quack and Thurnis whispers back to the duck
"He doesn't look that intimidating anymore don't you think?"

The duck tries to fly up to Thurnis's hands but forgot he/she does not have any feathers anymore. Thurnis snaps out of it and realizes the hooded guy is closer to him, he gets nervous and picks up the duck. Thurnis whispers to the duck.
"What should i do? That hooded guy is intimidating looking"
The duck whispers a quack back to Thurnis
"Oh...that makes sense i think i should try it huh"
The duck whispered a positive quack back to Thurnis.
"Sorry for not introducing ourselves properly, my name is Thurnis and this is my duck"
Thurnis tries to give the best smile he can give.

The duck still in shock starts to shake
"are you ok?" - he asks the duck

The duck starts quacking loud and fast and jumps to the floor and starts looking for the T-rex

The duck keeps running around looking for it

The duck stops running and looks at Thurnis replying to him with a quack

The duck replies positively again
"umm have I casted it before?"
The duck once again replies positively

positive quack
"....the T-rex?"
The duck quacks positively continuously
"what?? really?? you want me to get the T-rex back?....no"
The duck glares at Thurnis
"aw cmon dont do this I am not getting him back...look at you you lost your....oh i see what you want....revenge isnt it?"
The duck quacks positively
"alright here goes nothing"
Thurnis casts a spell and a flirty with comes out, Thurnis blushes
"Oh excuse me...um...mam..."
Thurnis makes the witch disappear and tries again this time successfully getting the T-rex out, the T-rex starts roaring and when its about to head towards Thurnis the duck bites the T-rex's tail making him roar in pain and swing his tail around. The duck keeps biting his way up the tail while the t-rex is still going insane trying to figure out how to get the duck off of him. Eventually (and quite quickly) the duck eats the whole t-rex leaving just the bones left. Thurnis stands there in shock with one of his eyes twitching trying to process what he just witnessed. The duck quacks once in happiness not only because he/she got his/her revenge but also he/she now has a full stomach.
"whaaa...." *gasp* - Thurnis in shock with his mouth open about to drool still trying to process the situation

Thurnis and the duck look down to the little girl then the duck looks back at Thurnis to see his response.
"well...I....uh...I...did....magic?"
The duck tilts his head and quacks
"here let me try"
Thurnis puts the duck down and tries to cast a spell to make another duck come out for the little girl
"cmon Thurnis you got this...*sigh* no you dont...bah...here goes nothing"
Thurnis casts a spell and another duck comes out
"yes!"
The duck vanishes
"no!!...ugh! Thurnis!"
Thurnis tries again and a T-rex appears growling loud about to eat everyone
"AHHH!! NO!!!"
Thurnis somehow manages to make it disappear
"Oh....my....god...."
Thurnis is a little bit in shock because of the dinosaur and the duck has his/her eyes wide open in shock too....the duck's feathers fell off instantly after being scared by the loud roar of that T-rex
"oh geez sorry duck!...that was...scary sorry"
Thurnis picks up the now featherless duck and snuggles it to keep him/her warm
"Sorry kid I tried but im afraid if I keep trying something like what you just saw will happen again....or worse...you see my magic....or maybe its my concentration hmm either way one of em is messed up"

The duck Quacks confused and looks at the girl then at Thurnis

"hmm...separation will be bad for you huh"

"I just realized im having a conversation with a duck...my duck"
The duck smiles with his big sharp teeth that somehow hide when he/she has his/her beak closed or when he/she quacks
"Definetly not an ordinary duck"
Thurnis looks back at the little girl and the hooded person
"I dont know who to talk to about this or how to approach it" - Thurnis tells the duck

The duck starts quacking like hes worried non stop and tries to look at Thurnis behind. Thurnis stares at the duck and at the girl running with him/her towards the hooded guy.
"But...thats....my duck" - he whispered to himself
