Bump before work.

It is said that we are born with an unseen red string tied to out pinky finger and the end is tied to whomever you are fated to be with. However, the thread is tangled, twisting this way and that, making it difficult for a pair to come together.

The idea in mind is inspired by the Chinese myth of the Red String of Fate, as well as a Fandom (Anime/Manga) called Loveless. However, you do not need prior knowledge of either. We can establish our own rules and build the world on our own, and I can answer your questions should you have any. In this particular world, there are units that are made up of two people: A fighter and a sacrifice. They share a soul bond and become capable of engaging in spell battles against other units.

So, those are pretty much the basics, I suppose. Feel free to ask any questions, make suggestions or what have you. I have several ideas for this. I would like to adds romance, a few twists, maybe a dark twist.
Uuuuumm, gonna bump. ^^
Also! If you might have any other ideas or suggestions, I would love to hear them.
In this particular world (The manga is called Loveless), there are teams that are made up of two people: A fighter and a sacrifice. They share a soul bond. (When a bond is established, they are capable of locating each other or knowing when the other is in distress. Not everyone meets their who they're bonded to). I always think of the bond as something similar to the red string if fate.

They have names like Loveless, Breathless, Beloved, etc. (that represent them as a unit along with a symbol or marking on their body) and fight with word spells. They activate certain forces with words, like when they want to hurt the other team, they say something like, "A thousand shards of glass, Cut!", etc. That is the fighter's job. The sacrifice's job is to take the pain of those words if the fighter doesn't protect his team well enough with shielding words.

There are a number of taboos and such, like fighter and sacrifice with different names fighting together.
It is taboo for two people who do not share a name to act as a unit.
It is not suggested for a fighter to act without a sacrifice, it is said his power is halved in such an instance.
A fighter is expected to protect their sacrifice.
If a unit declares a battle of spells, they can not forfeit- they must defeat their opponent, be defeated or have their opponent withdraw/call off the battle.

Thus describes the dynamic between the pair and battle system pretty well.

What we can do is limitless. I am open to heterosexual and homosexual pairings. I am open to a small group or one on one.

I have a few ideas, though none are very in depth.

- We can have a pair that clashes. We can have a pair that don't share a name, resulting in drama, jealousy, et cetera. Ask for my ideas and I will detail them further.

Feel free to ask questions! And we can get to discussing and further plotting! Hope to hear from some of you! PM me please, I probably won't be checking back into this thread until I need to edit or something.
Ahhh, sounds fun indeed. Alright, I'll take the bait! I'm gonna have a male and female, for both an owner and a neko for a total of five characters. I have a few ideas in mind that I will share upon contact, and would love to hear any you might have.

I consider myself medium-high casual or low advanced. I can also provide brief writing samples to give a better idea of each personality. Or writing samples to show you my style. Anywho, feel free to message me if you would like to interact with one of my characters!
@Kangaroo Hey there, thanks a lot! I appreciate it!
