Appearance: (no art bc i suck at art) Pale skin (not white, but pale), dark hair, dark eyes, short (maybe 5'2"), very small person in general. Hair is long and tends to cover her face. She dresses in dark neutral tones (like black and purple and blue and grey).
Personality: Quiet and observant. Doesn't have many friends irl but is very friendly online. Is an alcoholic because it's the closest thing to blood she can get easily.
Abilities/skills: Can see in the dark and can usually sense living things in the nearby area. Doesn't need more than half an hour of sleep a day.
Occupation: Currently in med school, works part time at the university to help pay for school.
Occupation based on beast: Is supposed to be helping gather victims for the nest, but gets away with not having to deal with that by promising she'll steal blood and bodies for them once she becomes a surgeon (she has no plans to help them in the future).
Strengths: Very book smart (she made it to med school). Not so great with English and history but amazing with numbers and science.
Weakness: Very bad with people and can't spend very long in direct sunlight without blistering. Constantly just a little drunk and can't drive.
History:
She was a normal kid growing up in northern New York until she was bitten at the age of 14. She was walking home from school one night when a group of guys started following her. At the time, she was very outgoing so she struck up a conversation. Eventually they got her to come back towards the nest. They brought her inside and bit her, turning her within the hour. They told her she could go home but not to tell her parents what happened and to come right back before sunrise. She stumbled home. As soon as she say her parents her head started pounding and she ran up to her room. When she turned out the lights to try to sleep, she found she couldn't and she could see everything. It was a horrible, sleepless night.
The next morning she went back to the nest and demanded to know what happened and they told her. She was now a vampire. The pounding in her head was from the blood in her parent's bodies and "it will go away eventually." They also gave her a list of things she needs to do: 1. cut all ties with your family. "we're your family now." 2. catch victims. "we all need to eat." and 3. try to work your way up to alpha female. "the old alpha's getting tired and needs a replacement. it'd look good for this small town nest to have caught the alpha."
so she did. She caught victims with her charisma. She started avoiding her old friends and parents. The day after graduation she moved to NYC for college and never looked back. Soon she was so good at what she did the old alpha wanted her as her successor. In an epic fight vampires everywhere still talk about now (five years later), Victoria told the alpha she could take the position and stick it up her butt. She was shunned for about a year, the time during which she turned 21 and discovered alcohol.
Now, she's still associated with the NYC vampires and could have the alpha position if she wants it but she really doesn't. In the last ten years she's become quieter and can now manage her symptoms with ease.
