:p I'll try it
(Victoria) "So... how are we going to kill him?" I tried to ask discreetly.
"Oh my dear. I can't BE killed. So you might as well take up your happy daggers now." Lucifer laughed as he settled into a big easy chair.
Well that isn't going to happen. I've spent too much money on this education to die now. I looked around at the faces of everyone else in the room; they showed a mixture of anger, resignation, and a little bit of insanity. Then, an idea popped into my head.
"What if we played a game?"
Everyone looked at me like I was mad. Lucifer cocked his head.
"What do you mean?"
"Like dodgeball. We get you out and then we say we killed you. No one actually gets hurt."
Eyes widened. Lucifer thought it over for a minute before he said "okay. We'll try it. However, I won't go easy on you."
I sighed. We can do this. Mallory can't get hit. We can't lose.
"However," Luci went on, "I get the kumokotok."
[Butchered that spelling, sorry... also hope I got the right species, my phone won't let me check.]
(Victoria) "Okay... Front door... Here we go." I knocked on the door. What am I doing here? I can't kill Lucifer, what was I thinking? Slowly, the door opened.
Lucifer himself opened the door. "Well, hello. I suppose you've come to kill me too."
So I'm not the only person to get a letter. Seems legit.
"Umm... yeah... I got this letter? I hope this isn't awkward."
He smiled. "Come inside." He moved aside and ushered me in. Inside, I saw the underage girl from the bar and Damien, of all people. I gave a small wave.
"So, uh... are you guys here to kill him too?"
"Oh hey. Something that isn't junk mail." I threw the random ads away and threw the bills on the counter and tore into the envolope. I stopped short when I read the letter. I'm going to die unless I can kill the prince of hell. And the key to success is smiling? Well. I can kill. Just gotta figure out where he lives.
After a couple google searches I had an address for the only person legally named Lucifer in NYC. I bundled up and slathered on sunscreen and was about to leave when I realized I should probably tell my friends I might not be back tomorrow. "Hey guys, I'm heading out to battle the devil. I might not be back. Love you!"
(Victoria) Vampires don't actually need to sleep, but I still do it sometimes out of habit. Falling asleep is usually difficult without the use of drugs but waking up is so weird. Like, your body won't wake itself up. However, it's nearly impossible to sleep through a proper alarm unless some medication is keeping you under. Basically, if you forget to set an alarm, you'll never wake up. Luckily, I have an alarm that always goes off an hour before my classes start.
I can't describe what it's like to wake up with a hangover and not be tired. I'm perfectly alert but my head hurts so bad I can't stand up. It's an odd feeling.
How does a vampire go about curing a hangover? Blood. It's really a cure-all. It cures all basic human illness, including stomach flu, sinus infections, and headaches. Blood also speeds the healing process for most injuries. Unfortunately, it doesn't cure cancer (or any long term illness that comes from having a human body). Most vampires have a built up store of blood in their body, but I haven't had real blood in months. But this is why I volunteer in a blood bank. I have a couple bags stored in my fridge in case I ever got injured or sick.
One sip of cold blood and I can feel the headache disappearing. I forgot how good blood is, I thought as I sucked down every drop.

~hours later~

I forgot how hard it is not drain humans when they're working side by side with you. But I didn't. So that's good.
I put my books on my bed and turn on my computer and start checking on all my various websites. "Lucigoosi6" sent me a message? And followed me back?! Nice! I've been watching their blog forever! I clicked open the message and read "so I see you live in nyc. have you ever been to see the statue of liberty?" I reply with "actually, I haven't. surprising, I know." We kept chatting for a while until they had to go. That's when I finally pulled my homework out and got to work on my paper about how to tell if a patient has faked their drug tests. Absolutely riviting, I know.
(Victoria) when I woke up the next morning, I was still in the bar. I tried to get up to leave and immediately felt the hangover hit me in full force. Well, I thought, getting home is going to be hell. Good thing I don't have work today.
I covered my eyes with the hood of my jacket and walked out onto the street. I started walking toward home, every blink sending shooting pains through my skull. Eventually I made it home where I turned off all the lights and decided to sleep off this stupid hangover. Maybe tomorrow I'll go back to the bar and ask about what happened but for now, the darkness is calling my name.

(Victoria) all the noise is killing my head. I need to get out of here.
I stumbled toward the door but never made it. Instead, I tripped over an overturned table and landed directly in front of the taller of the hunters. I might have fallen on some glass but because I don't bleed, I'm not sure. I remember one time I got all the way home before I realized I had ripped a hole in my pants and cut my leg with a steak knife. No wonder those girls on the bus were staring at me on the bus. Guess I'll just have to look for scars tomorrow. If I make it out of here alive.
(Victoria) Fine. I can't suck this guy's blood? I'll either have to suck the other redblood that showed up or go hunt one down on the street. I'm hoping that because the one here just ganked that cloaked chick they'll let me drink him.
However, before I could make myself move in their direction, a sudden urge to barf made me stumble to the bathroom instead. Well, I thought to myself, I'm more drunk than I've been since my 21st birthday. I wonder if that nice redblood I was sitting on would take me home.
(Victoria) That stupid bartender cut me off. How dare. Looks like I'll have to find my own drink.
I tuned in to my blood radar and gasped. There was still blood in the bar. I thought Damien got rid of all the humans like he usually does but nope, there's someone here. And I'm gonna drink them.
I pushed myself up off the ground and stumbled over to the human. "Hey dude. I've never seen you here before." I plopped into the chair next to him.
"Oh... I've been watching this bar for a while but I've never actually come in." He looked around nervously. "Are you... are you drunk?"
"I've had a few drinks but I wouldn't call myself drunk." I slung my legs over his his and wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling myself into his lap. I murmured into his cheek "However, I am still thirsty."
The guy shifted in his seat. "Uhh... can I buy you a Coke or something?"
I giggled. "It's not that kind of thirst." I snuggled up closer to him, my fangs starting to poke out.
