I know Im making it an argument, I tend to get a bit adamant when it comes to things like that. You have to understand, it's /very/ frustrating to start out on a new site, get excited, spend a couple hours on your first post, and the first thing you see is someone making "an offhand comment" about how you made your character.

Well, then please don't assume things about my characters. You assumed that I made an implication she can understand romance, she can't. She's 6. But she /is/ pansexual, she might not understand it, or why, but it's same as having blonde hair. Children are also known at times to show hourglassy figures at a young age, if that were true for this character I would want to feel free to put that in my description without being bothered about it by strangers. I don't like it when people nit-pick at other people's character templates, no one should have to change what they think is a good template just because someone else they don't know doesn't like something about it. I don't intend to continue this conversation from here, I'd rather it not turn into a dispute.

Sexual Orientation: Pansexual - Sexual orientation is not all about sexual activity, it effects more in your life than that. Even as a child is it clear and easy to see what their sexual orientation is. Feminine boys who are gay, as children, are often discovered by their parents because they tend to act different than other boys, they like girls toys and activities. As a pansexual child, Violet too will act differently, I thought this was prudent for roleplay. If you don't like that, get out.

She has pretty blue eyes and pale ivory skin, her dainty figure suggests she hasn't worked much in her short life, or possibly at all. She always has a curious expression, and her eyes seem to see more in things than most people, in fact, some people don't like looking into her eyes because they feel she can see their secrets. Usual Attire: A cute little white dress that's littered with dirt and grass stains, the dress itself is a bit too big for the tiny child, but she manages to wear it as properly as she can.

Personality Details: Violet is a kind child with a heart dripping in gold. She couldn't hurt anyone if she needed to, she tends to make friends with all walks of life, from the villains to the heroes, she can see the good in everyone and everything. She has a strange look on life, in which she believes that there is a balance in everything, that life is made to be born and to die and that evil and good must exist in order for the balance to be kept. She believes however that violence is awful and unnecessary, which is why she refuses to involve herself in it, even in self defense she wouldn't hurt anyone, attacker or not. She aids any who need her help, even if it means making sacrifices of her own to help them.

Why do we need to know the sexual orientation of a six year old child.

I don’t like the implications that a little girl is able to understand romance.

It's a template get over it, oh my god. Im not some pedophile or some crazy crap, its just a generalized profile template, Im sorry if I want to decide the information for my character that should already be there when they're born with. Its not that you need to know it, it's that it would already be a factor in the kid's mind, being pansexual effects more in your life than just sex, get your head out of the gutter.

Outside the kingdom's tavern, The Arrunian Inn, people walk about doing their daily business. The bustle of voices, the sound of mugs on tables and men laughing, all come from the busied tavern, many a stranger talking within. One or two men lean on the walls outside the tavern, waiting for their drink to fade before they return to their wives.

Out in the street, near the lower-class market stalls that litter the streets, a small child carrying a simple cloth pouch tied shut with a piece of string is wandering on her own. No shoes on her feet, and her pretty blonde hair dangling dangerously, just above the ground. Her big blue eyes see the world in wonder, as she wanders about studying the faces of the strangers that pass by. It's obvious there's something amiss, her little white dress drags on the ground a bit, it's obviously too big for her. And the dress is stained heavily, her hair is a mess, and there are dirt smudges on her face. Could she be a homeless child? An orphan? What if she's just lost? Whatever the case may be, there are many orphaned children who wander the streets of Faerundale, peasants and nobles alike just pass the child by without a second glance.

THe little girl seems to be smiling, keeping a good hold on her little pouch with both of her tiny hands, she seems happy, wandering the streets with dirty little feet, just watching everything around her as if she might miss something wonderful. What does this child see in a world so full of hatrid..?

The streets of Faerundale are busy, carts going by, peasants walk to and fro doing their daily routines. The occasional noble passes as well, guards stay by their posts and children run amock and cause trouble as they please, with their mothers chasing after. It's a normal, casual life in the city, the royals live in their castle, the peasants in their little wooden houses. The tavern is almost always busy, guests going in and out at all hours of the day. Anything could happen, day or night, and we must all be ready for it..

Town info!

Above is the map of Faerundale, a medieval era kingdom surrounded by forests and open farming fields. The world is a complicated place, and simply put, this kingdom is the only one for more than 10days horse ride in any direction. Most people in Faerundale are born here, and die here of old age, never seeing much outside their massive walls. The dark forest that looms to the edge is inhabited by horrendous sorts of monsters, creatures, ghouls.. Strange things come from that forest at times, creatures the humans that inhabit the city aren't so sure about.

The royalty of Faerundale are fair, the queen is beautiful and kind, and her husband the king is strong, he rules with an iron fist, but he does so right. They royals have a young son, about age 11, and plan on not having other children in the future. There is a large amount of guards around the city, the upper class district is usually inhabited by 1-3 of them, the inner walls of the castle are always crawling with them, the peasant district is left to fend for itself, and the main gathering area outside the orphanage usually has a few since the barracks are nearby.
