Almost done. Just gotta decide on weapons and items and my character should be all set.

EDIT: And posted it in the characters section.
About halfway done with my CS. Gotta decide on the weapons and jutsus that I want now.
I'm here. Working on my CS now.
Just cause I'm bored, I whipped up a CS. I think it has all the information we'll need, but is generic enough to allow for any kind of character. Let me know if you think we should change anything.

Name:

Age:

Gender:

Appearance:

Items: (Include any weapons, tools, equipment, etc. that your character carries)

Abilities: (Include any powers, notable skills, or specialized knowledge that your character has)

Background: (A brief summary of your character’s past)

Other: (Anything else that we should know about your character)
I agree with Vita and Rin. We don't want to set up a specific plot. The setting should just be a place where our characters are. With that said, it should be specific enough that we don't have a rain forest next to a glacier, but broad enough that any kind of characters, sci-fi or fantasy based, could fit in. My suggestion would be a sort of hodge-podge village. It has houses, a school, and a mix of whatever aesthetics we need to accommodate the characters. We could say that all resources that our characters would need to function - guns, magic scrolls, medicine, jet fuel, whatever - could be available through "travelling traders" in the village. This will let people make whatever they want to make.

I've participated in RPs of this nature before, and they can definitely work so long as the players are willing to sacrifice cohesion for freedom. The plot derives from the interactions of the characters alone, and I would recommend players having a single primary character that they focus on, but can be free to introduce temporary "antagonist" characters to mix up the status quo a bit. We don't have to do this, but I am just speaking from experience of things that I have seen work.
Well, while we're waiting we can at least discuss some preliminary stuff to keep this alive. We'll be making whatever characters we like, but we should decide on an upper limit of power to keep things under control. Also, we need to pick a general setting. So, Maybe we can shoot out some ideas, then have a vote on straw poll for which one we like the best?
Is this still alive?
Question: Can we assume that our characters have the basic academy jutsu like kawarimi (substitution) or should we write all that in?
Well, the OP hasn't posted anything since she posted this. Maybe she's been busy. Let's give her a chance. I'm still sticking around for this.
I'd be interested.
