Kiori sat in his guild quarters, polishing off his sword and wondering when the guildmaster would call for him again. He was a well built man in his mid-twenties, strong but not bulky. His hair was dark brown and was kept short, and his eyes were even darker. One would usually expect a fighter to have many scars from his numerous battles, but this was not the case. Scars were for mercenaries, those brutes that would charge into a battle at a moment's notice, relishing the adrenaline rushes derived from chaos and brutality. In their reckless line of work, a scar or two was not uncommon. But scars meant mistakes, and assassins did not make mistakes.

With a sigh, Kiori put his sword away and laid down on his bed. The mattress was made just too his liking, not too soft, not too firm, and the sheets were of the finest silk money could buy. Indeed, at the snap of his fingers he could have any luxury his heart desired from fine wine to fine women. It wasn't a bad deal. All he had to do was get a little blood on his hands every now and then, but blood would wash right off. Still, Kiori wondered what his life would be like if he didn't have this power.

The door to his room opened. It was the guildmaster, the one man in the world who could enter his chamber without an invitation, or even a knock. The guildmaster was a pale, gaunt man. Most people would think that they could snap the man in half if they wanted to; they would be wrong. "You have a contract," he said simply and placed a piece of parchment on his dresser. There was no need for a briefing. Kiori knew how contracts worked, and he knew how to kill even better. Without another word, the guildmaster left Kiori to read about his new mark.

"Rylee Jamison," he read aloud, and then suddenly he stopped. He knew that name. "Rylee Jamison..." he knew her. He shook his head. No, it was just a name, a common name. The girl he knew wouldn't be stupid enough to desert a guild. Besides, even if it was her, this was his job. Kiori gathered his things together and prepared to set out. All he had to do was get a little blood on his hands, and that would wash right off.
And here we have it!
Keiji kept a stoic expression, but grinned internally as the leaf ninja responded to his taunt. Gora even gave away a potentially useful bit of information. Deathflinger, eh? Had this man earned this name due to deadly accuracy with his shuriken throws, or was their some kind of jutsu hidden within them. Or perhaps it was just a name bearing no significance. Still Keiji decided to cover all bases and ducked under them rather than blocking them; it would be best to avoid direct contact with them until he knew what the name meant. As he ducked, he dashed forward in pursuit, a kunai in hand just in case those shuriken had any tricks to them.

Keiji wondered if Gora knew the wisdom of his flight; with constant motion it would be difficult to get his geckos into a position where their would trap the enemy, but Keiji had a feeling that this man's demeanor was simply well-suited for the situation. He took a glance at where the man was running, though, and became a bit more optimistic. Was he simply changing their arena to a more favorable location? That was fine. He urged all but one of his geckos over to the tree where they would seem perfectly natural, having one gecko with poison senbon stay close to him, and then called back to Gora in his pursuit.

"Well, Guura-kun," he began, deliberately mispronouncing the name, "I suppose I should return the courtesy and tell you my name. You would know me as Zekkyouha, the Screaming Blade. You can run all you like, but unless you're faster than the speed of sound, you'll never escape my jutsu." And so Keiji's ruse began. The name he borrowed was that of a low ranking missing-nin that would have appeared in several Bingo Books. It was likely that any high-ranking shinobi would have heard the name, but unlikely that they would be familiar enough with the enough with the entry to know that Keiji looked nothing like him. This Zekkyouha was known for using sound based jutsu, and that was just the background information he hoped his enemy had; if Gora had never heard of him, well the alias was enough of a hint.

With that, Keiji took out his whistle and began making the signs for his Nise Zoufuku no Jutsu. His false persona was established, his genjutsu was ready, and Keiji finally blew on the whistle. To everybody else, the whistle would seem like just a mildly annoying note, but Keiji's genjutsu multiplied the volume of the tone manyfold for Gora, making it sound like an indescribable screech. Gora's ear drums would feel like they were rupturing from the magnitude of the sound, but his hearing would, in fact, be in tact, leaving him susceptible to a constant barrage of sound. And that completed Keiji's school of red herrings. He didn't care if Gora saw through the false identity, he didn't care if Gora realized that there was absolutely nothing special about his whistle; he didn't care if Gora managed to identify and break the genjutsu; all he cared about was distracting Gora long enough to get the geckos into position.

I'm fine with them knowing each other, was Kaiji ever open about his admiration of Konoha before they began conquering other nations?

He wouldn't have been gung-ho about it for risk of people seeing him as a traitor, but anybody who had a political conversation with him would know that he respected Konoha
Got a partner already for "No One Escapes The Guilds," but I'm still interested in grabbing one more for one of the other two.
@Weird Tales Since Keiji and Natzu are from the same village, do you want to have them know each other? They're close to the same age, so maybe they went to the Academy together? Or maybe Keiji has simply heard of the crazy rage ninja and knows not to piss him off.

Hello Guild. I'm on the hunt for a solid 1x1 RP to get me through the summer doldrums. I am a lover of both Western fantasy, and anime, and I have been known to blend the two genres together. I have a few specific scenarios that I'd be interested in playing out. I have ideas for the direction each of them could go, but the plot lines haven't been fleshed out; after all, making the plot as you go is part of the fun of RPing. That also means that the scenarios are open to tweaking to accommodate any special interests. So, before the plot ideas, let's get the preliminary stuff out of the way...

What I'm Looking For:

-I play male main, you play female main. Open to doubling and numerous side characters.

-No limits on gore, profanity should be used tastefully, fade to black for sexy time.

-At least 2 well-written and proofread paragraphs per post. More is great. Less is OK on occasion if there is dialogue going back and forth.

-Post at least once a day. More is great. Missing a day here and there is OK, but please stay active.

-Contribute to the story. I don't want bystanders. Shake things up, make stuff happen, offer creative input.

-Make interesting side characters as needed. We will have our main characters, yes, but they do not exist in a vacuum. Be willing to make allies and enemies that go beyond generic NPC status.

Sound good to you? If so, time for the fun part: the plots. For each of these I'd like there to be a mix of action, drama, and romance. The balance of these can be tweaked to our liking, as can any other aspect of each of the ideas. Likewise, the settings are intentionally vague, allowing us to decide on whatever kind of magic/races/whatever we want to include.

And there is one fandom I'd be interested in playing: Dark Souls. For this, I'd be interested in playing something along the lines of Gwyn's court, either before or after he sacrificed himself to the First Flame.

So, I know these interests are kinda specific, but I'd be willing to work with anyone whose willing to bite. If you're interested either leave a post here, or send me a PM.
I'm trying to figure out what to post or do. The only idea I have is Ricardo fighting the two CAHs that got him the Wind and Fly cards.

Go for it. It'll get easier once all the characters are actually in it.
I'm interested in what kind of fantasy ideas you have
