Gonna post later, but putting this in now: DON'T HURT THE HERD, NEVER HURT THE HERD!

Takeo is pretty chill but he's the tank so, messing with the pack he's supposed to protect is gonna put him in a bad way. Fuckin' Lorenzo.
@Ammokkx I didn't say it would make sense to the story, but it would be easier for the GM to do stuff if they were the SL xD
omg these memes I'm done

Surprised GM didn't make themselves SL. I mean, it would make sense due to story advancement and stuff, so I was expecting it. Kudos for being outside-of-the-box though!
Takeo simply held his small smile through the entirety of the debriefing, shrugging his shoulders loosely when the XO was handing him his own criticism. Thinking back to the battle, he did not believe his actions had any motive to them he could comprehend - in fact, he hardly remembered most of it. It was almost like he became a different person when the haze of battle entered his mind. Takeo was not sure he could act any differently, even if he tried.

The announcement of Sigma as squad leader made his smile larger, and close to genuine. When the XO dismissed them, he put a hand on her shoulder.

"I will call you taisho, now." As Takeo spoke, he stepped back from Sigma and inclined his body in a formal bow, the proper gesture to respect a superior in his ancient culture. The unified military of Earth required a salute, but he would try to bend the rules with a fellow pilot.
The day continues on, air tight and heavy with the sense of dread that permeates every household. Doors are locked, windows latched, and still the relentless sun burns on.

You make your way through Salem, eyeing everyone appraisingly. A terrible scream suddenly shatters your concentration. You make your way to the disturbance to find the corpse of Catrina Morris, a young Scottish woman, swinging from the rafters like a pendulum, a thick noose tight around her neck.

Someone in the gathering crowd finds a note and reads it out loud. It appears Catrina was the killer of Luc Boivier. Ruined by guilt, she could no longer stand to be alive.

Night soon falls, and you make your way home, the images of two dead villagers fresh in your mind. Tonight should be peaceful, at least...

(Catrina Morris, the killer, has been lynched!)

NIGHT 2

The stars fade behind a veil of cloud, and a light wind sends whispers through the trees. A day as hot as it was can only promise one thing: rain.

(You are asleep. No actions may be taken at night except through PM.)
I'm gonna be posting some time tomorrow if you don't mind the wait! ;D
@Mike73 A tie ends up being a NL, but tabby's vegging so they will be killed off.

I like all the activity. I'll give everyone a bit longer before ending the day.
Took me an hour to make a tiny post. Got distracted, sorry D:
And with all the tension that mounted between Takeo and the green Framewerk before him, Iron Sparrow's cockpit suddenly going dark and his sword arm dropping limp was quite anticlimactic. After a moment of panic, the XO's voice came over the comms in Takeo's suit and informed him the battle had ended. He breathed deeply, suddenly thankful for the chance to calm his mind, and opened the escape hatch above him.

Clambering outside into the sinkhole's musty air, Takeo's perspective was once again shifted. His head spun as his state of mind readjusted to his relative size, and for the first time he realized how truly massive the ruins around him were. Comet Sigma's size awed him as it stood dormant on the cavern floor, and he remembered again his own formidable giant. It's not me, he thought. I'm just the pilot.

Takeo stood atop the head of his Framewerk, spotting Sigma emerging opposite him. He gave her a smile and waved, hoping she would see him, and the buzz of helicopters soon loomed overhead.
