Oh I'm so sorry to hear that! If you need anything, just someone to message or accommodations for the roleplay please don't hesitate to ask!

Almost done with my first draft for the history. Honestly though, I might go in and try to summarize things to shorten it up during my cleanup.
@Tangletail

I hope you make a bunch of jokes. You already seem like a wonderful bard :P

Thanks :B, I've had plenty of experience! And boy can I tell you they get reeaal stupid fast in DnD. To the point where they can help a team break reality. I figured I'd also give the DM a little way to have some fun as well with her mental health problems affecting her magics.
So... a Sociopathic Tiefling, a Schitzophrenic Brith, and a Sane Dwarf walk into a bar....
@FamotillThanks! I just added a massive chunk of background to her character sheet! I'll revise it a bit when I complete it.

Mmm... so far with her personality, I'm getting vibes of her being a daredevil styled bard enchanter. Being in your face, constantly pissing you off and making you fumble and constantly miss. That, while she's powering the mage's fireball up into a nuclear fire storm... or effectively making the rogue's rifle fire freight trains at people.

What is the starting limit on spell counts anyways?
@Famotill How did you plan on Bards working in your world?

Or are they very similar to how they function in DnD?

Also, growing closer to completeing Raux.
Wow thanks for the info! I figured that the weapon would still be fairly accurate in this world, but I'd imagine the schematics for such weapons haven't been perfected.

I hadn't heard of the dragoon flintlock! I'll check that out. Thank you for the info! I'm definitely not a gun expert lol

Not a problem! Flintlocks Pistols were often used in mounted combat. The most memorable Calvary that used flintlock pistols on horse back is the Winged Hussars during The Battle of Vienna. It was easily manageable, and there were actually methods employed to make loading them easier and faster. Those methods eventually lead to how bullets are designed today. They were basically paper cartridges. You'd bite the end off to pour some powder into the primer pan. Close the pan, and stuff the entire paper cartridge down the barrel.

In a fantasy setting for a gunner, there's quite a few things that can be done to make it faster to load. Depends on how creative you get.

And the word "Dragoon" just means calvary. So the Germanic Dragoon Flintlock is just a Calvary pistol.
@Templar Knight@Famotill

On a side note... Flintlock pistols and Matchlock rifles are a lot more accurate than people probably thought. They aren't as accurate as the Crossbow or a regular bow from a trained archer. But they were still pretty scary to have one pointed at you.

Both of their accuracy ends at 50-60 yards, which is just on the cusp where it is hard for the human eye to aim effectively without anymore aide than iron sights.

The rifle however... you're not hitting anything at modern rifle ranges most of the time. So you're better off fighting a little closer with the weapon.

And the dragoon flintlock pistol is comparatively as accurate as a modern pistol for the ranges it is meant to be fired.

@Famotill What can you tell me about the war between the Humans and dwarf alliance against the Brithian Empire? Just some information I need to know to see where I can take her background on how she became a Jester/bard.

Was it a decisive victory? A bloody battle? Did a lot of places get destroyed? How long was the rebuild process? Did anyone get shafted in the end? And finally how long ago was the war?
Just gonna drop this WIP here! Feel free to give me some suggestions!

I'm thinking of making a free spirited, jester like bard. Shines in battle by insulting, mocking, berating people into mistakes or into madness. And perhaps even controlling or manipulating foes with a few well worded quips, or a crafty song.

I may swap around wisdom and strength depending on what the personality and her background is.
