Gotta agree with the posts above. It sucks having to shift this many characters aside, but we don't have a GM to do it for us right now.

I'm likely going to move my character over to Sortiarius. We can assume Snarb's not in great condition after fighting three badass PCs in a row -- a kill would be kinda justified, else he can just run off to patch himself up or something. Raelis can fly off since beating Snarb was all he came there to do. Jessibelle can vanish somewhere after dropping Carmen off, who can then set off to find Evvie if Niks doesn't get in her way... yes/no?

As for Daemon Webs, I'm not quite sure how to untangle (sorry) what happened there. Might just be a job for Sir Sparklyhooves after all.. But at least we can get one of our threads moving again for now.
Figured I should get round to this before Carmen actually ends up in a fight, however many more weeks that might be x|. Gonna request a few changes to her current character sheet (link) -- below lists her current minions and gives her a few more failsafes.

Surely enough, Carmen's five-eyed construct and her 'luggage' were escorted back in one piece -- and a short time after, plans were set for the fleet to depart. As the ship neared the outer atmosphere, Carmen felt the return of her sixth sense, gradually re-establishing connections with her constructs' minds. With all but a commanding thought, her rabbit-like companion hovered over beside the far window, remotely allowing Carmen to glimpse the world they were leaving behind.
Having seen all there was to see on Mystique's surface, her disdain of its barren wastes could not be elevated any higher. The planet was useless to her, and likely impossible to salvage at that. The leaving present which Jessibelle appeared to have left behind perhaps suggested they had reached the same conclusion. with the erasure of her base, it could be expected that the fleet did not expect to return here... even if an explosion of that size appeared to be more than a little reckless. Though her face tried to hide it, Carmen knew something was off here; If the leader had appeared as nothing but polite and generous in her time meeting her... then, was this what was to happen to those she no longer affiliated with?
While a concern, it was still an unlikely accusation, and one which likely would not affect her in her time aboard. Of all her talents, Carmen took the most pride in her avoidance of becoming a target; she fully expected this trip to run smoothly, but even if Jessibelle was to show a malicious side, she was confident in her ability to take advantage of it rather than becoming a victim.

As their idle conversation ensued, the Queen finally requested something from Carmen in return. Seeing past her phrasing, the guest assumed she wanted intelligence regarding other planets nearby. Recalling her earlier encounter, the other outsider Jessibelle had taken in had also visited from outer space, thus Carmen expected that he was also to be queried in a similar fashion. Still, providing such information was of little inconvenience; without revealing anything more about herself, information was the most she could afford to offer, and anything to lessen her debt was sure to help in the long run.
Carmen withdrew a rectangular device from her inner coat pocket, about the size and width of a modern smart-phone, with a refined metal rim and back plate. This device was her personal memo, for storing things which her vast memory cannot portray quite as effectively. A star map was amongst its standard features, comparable to a modern-day GPS application. Shown on-screen, The device logged a great number of surrounding stars. Four of them were marked as solar systems which Carmen had visited, and within them were about a dozen orbits, with notable planets and asteroids marked in their simulated positions.

"I didn't get the name of the last planet I had travelled to," said Carmen, who appeared far more relaxed with her situation than she had a few hours ago. A gentle finger pointed above one of the larger-rendered planets, exhibiting two well-defined and radically-different continents. "Terribly cold weather," she added, turning the device towards the spider-lady. "Sparsely populated, at least where I landed... My last escort and I could not stay for long."
She raised the device a little and looked up, gesturing for Jessibelle to borrow it from her. Carmen did this with confidence, knowing its more-sensitive data had already been obscured. No visiting or departure dates were recorded on the system itself, and several less-remarkable planets had been omitted, thus preventing anyone from discerning her path or origin.

Seeing an unconscious Evvie, she's overwhelmed with the need to give her the best armor ever and get her to safety out of the goodness of her heart. ...no? Well, Evvie can agree to assist her with any one task. Or she can go to Are. But whatever the case she's still unconscious and the battle is moving at a snails pace (or right now not at all). Someone would need to drag her to a more active world or something. Maybe a random NPC (my boy character from the inn), could do that. Or a playable character could throw her through a random portal that shows up. Or someone can just kill her so she can respawn. Snore wants a snack mid battle to hold him over?

Conscious or unconscious, shouldn't be a problem if Evvie's prepared to work for it x). Just it might be difficult to make them meet sooner than later. Getting another character to drag her out might be the best way for now.

I just. Wonder what the fuck is up with Khan's porn face icon.

I... can't even discern what expression that thing's meant to be giving off. My mind doesn't register it as a face at all. I feel so confused.
To be fair, a lot of people still think they're no more BS than fire magic is, but enough said on that. The above really isn't the best way to make a leaving post, it just makes guys harder to invite back, and leaves a bad impression on other lurkers considering to join us. I can't say whether the points are deserved or not (still a handful of threads I need to catch up on), but overall it isn't appreciated =S.

More on topic - Carmen could probably make Evvie an armour set fitting most of those specs... with a lot of persuasion. That would all depend on where LeeRoy intends to drop her off, although.
"It is not within the city," Carmen gently corrected Jessibelle, and did not move an inch from her seat. If she was expected to entrust her life's work with strangers, naturally she would have the necessity to watch over them.
"The luggage in question is about three meters wide, three tons in weight. Its location is hidden, but within reach. This model can lead your men to it." In sync with her words, the white-furred construct righted itself with its wings, waiting attentively for further instruction.
The lowering wall made all three of the guests flinch ever slightly, just enough to be noticed by the most watchful of individuals. Carmen was not perfect at hiding her mindset, though it quickly became clear that Jessibelle was acting in her best interests. Outside of the chamber, her six-limbed construct continued to wait, watching in no particular direction.as it rested upon its giant claw.
"As private as I can make it," she nodded, retaining calmness in her voice if not her eyes. "It should be no problem should I need to disclose anything more; I am seeking refuge after all, not enemies."

Again the queen took uncannily well to her request - and somewhat caught Carmen off-guard with her sudden informality. Putting two and two together, the guest easily deduced the former was how she was expected to speak in public, thus it appeared the chamber was not only for her own benefit.
"And you are not asking for anything in return?" was her only query, now crossing her arms where she sat. Jessibelle had already expressed her generous ethics, but Carmen could never be too sure.
Ahoy Guru, nice to see another of the older guys gathering back here.

Like Green, I'm not exactly seeing the problem... If I said I had a sword that turns itself ablaze because magic, people wouldn't have a problem with it, despite it being even more impractical than a vibra-blade would be. I don't think simply saying "this sword functions with false science instead of false magic" should make it completely exempt.

After all, characters using such weapons usually have reasons behind why they're unaffected by their drawbacks (i.e. a fire-blade user just happens to be heat-resistant), or some other pseudo-technology that makes that weapon viable for them. Yes, the effects of a weapon need clear explanation (just like fake materials and magic systems), but while their method of doing so should be stated, 'semi-realistic' fights simply can't happen without some form of handwaving there.
Carmen modestly followed inside, observing the expansive control room from the ship's entrance. She had few doubts of the flagship being equally as impressive on the inside, though she particularly noticed the immaculate, perhaps excessive attention paid to the ship's stability and failsafes. She had already sussed that Jessibelle could not be challenged here by any means, but now it was clear just how much her subordinates were devoted to keeping it that way.
Up ahead, the queen herself sounded just as proud of the craft as Carmen was privileged to be boarding it. Although, the ideals she spoke of were.. outlandish, to the point where she simply refrained from acknowledging it with anything more than a nod. She could certainly appreciate the kindness, but having lived through one too many corrupt civilisations in her time, her cautious scepticism could not be helped.

"I'm afraid I have little of a story to tell, Lady Jessibelle." the guest answered with doctored politeness, despite being surprised by the question asked to her. Still, she was not in a position to outright decline, so she opted to pick her words carefully.
"I first arrived a month ago, seeking distance from a particular contact of mine." she soon began, sighing somewhat irritably at the mention. "he has not followed me, so I figured it was time to move on... or so I would have liked."

Now wearing her beige coat again, Carmen helped herself to the middle chair which was offered to her. The rabbit-like construct merely sat beside her at her feet, and the shark-like one did not appear to move too far from the room's entrance.
"In my time here, I have acquired some... questionable luggage, so to say," Carmen continued. "As it stands, I cannot leave this planet the way I had arrived. What I can find in these wastelands have seemed to be my best chance right now; the two beings with me have made that possible," she gestured to the rather comatose being rested next to her, "But I expect you have already witnessed the fortunes most of them run into."

Carmen leaned in gently, and her voice perked quite suddenly on her final note. "...So. Having finally met someone with a sizeable ship intact, I must now ask for a very humble favour..."
As anticipated from earlier, the Lady herself was greeted and revered by all manner of races which served under her. Even on eight legs she carried herself with the air and confidence of a queen, yet spoke as modestly as any other. Her present attire was not particularly telling of her status, but taking her other company's cues, Carmen was not about to mention that out loud. Through the sheer trust and honour displayed, it was clear that Jessibelle was nothing short of untouchable in this domain - which, if not an oversight, was possibly the reason why the guards saw no need to restrain their captives.
Talking of such, another person had appeared alongside and behind Jessibelle; assumedly another visitor, if she was to tell by his vastly-differing suit and posture. It was easy enough to put two and two together, quickly learning he had survived or been rescued from the earlier wreck she discovered.

"It appears I have arrived at a less-than-ideal time," she stated the obvious, her tone filled with blissful apology. No longer being held at gunpoint, she took the opportunity to approach a step forward, introducing herself in turn. "Still, I thank you for your....hospitality, at this busy hour. You may call me Carmen."
Since meeting Jessibelle, the two constructs had not shifted an inch, yet never appeared any less focused on the one standing between them.
"I am no leader," their leader corrected her, beaming as angelically as ever. "I merely hold their free will, so to speak. You may refer to us as one, if you prefer."

Soon enough the group found themselves back outdoors, Carmen following close after the empress as she led the way towards their impressive flagship. Per her orders, the fellow stranger had been pointed towards a dormitory, and the remains of his crash site had been transported almost entirely. For a faction this regimented to spare time to repair an outsider's ship, let alone grant him somewhere to stay in the meantime... there could not possibly have been a more fortunate place for him to land -- and the same went for Carmen herself, who may never have stumbled upon this fleet otherwise.
