I've been roleplaying on here for a while and have met some great people. I generally do Casual as free tend to move too quickly and all of the advanced roleplays I've tried have fallen apart.

I didn't yet to allow people to decide where they're going/what they're doing. Also for slightly more dramatic effect
Jason was sleeping very soundly. He couldn't remember having any kind of dream, but he knew that he was feeling really cold. It was almost like he was outside. He could feel the grass underneath him and it was starting to sound like there were other people around him. That was when he heard the voice of a girl. His eyes almost instantly snapped open. Looking around he realized that he didn't have any idea where he was. The other people around him seemed just as confused as he was. Something though was definitely coming. He stood up quickly and looked to the others concerned about how this situation was going to play out when he saw one of the other guys throw a flying knee strike at what looked like a monster made of paper. The guy immediately got up and ran into the hedge maze everyone was near.
Jason had been about to follow him when the voice told him about a gun like object. It wasn't until then that he felt a heavy metallic object in his hand. He grasped it tightly and continued to chase the guy. Maybe he knew something about what was going on. Even if he didn't, someone had to protect the lunatic. That was when he heard the monster that had been knocked down stirring behind him. Jason tried to pick up speed but whatever that thing was, it was unbelievably fast. He turned in the direction of the monster and raised the gun hoping it would have some sort of effect before realizing that he was being surrounded on both sides. The reality of the situation hit heavy and fast, no matter what this was most likely it for him. He placed the barrel of the gun under his chin and put his finger on the trigger. "I'm sorry dad." He felt the trigger move and felt the hammer drop on the gun.
What happened next however was not at all what he was expecting. A voice could be heard saying something that sounded like "A gi". Followed by what felt like a strong blast of heat. Opening his eyes Jason saw a small Jack O Lantern floating around with a lantern in it's.....hand? How did a pumpkin have a hand? For that matter, how was it floating? Rubbing his eyes Jason watched as the Jack O Lantern began shooting fire from it's lantern at one of the monsters. The one that had been standing behind him could be heard running away from him. The Jack O Lantern turned to him after chasing off the other monster and almost seemed to smile. "Call me Pyro Jack". Jason just stood staring at the thing frozen in fear as well as complete shock.

Character Past: Jason grew up as any normal kid would. He grew up with both his parents in his life, he went to school every day, and he was a normal student. However all that changed when he turned ten. His mother died exactly one month after his tenth birthday. It was at that moment that Jason began to get sucked into anime, manga, and video games. He started to separate himself from life and all it's downsides in this way. When he noticed the difference he resolved to not let anyone else get upset about anything in life. He puts himself into other people's lives because he believes he can help.
After his mother's death, Jason's dad became a heavy alcoholic. He lost his job and now sleeps and drinks all day. Jason rarely sees him anymore because he stays in his room as well. Appearance: "So what if I'm not a hero? Give it time."
Personality: Yuu is very much the guy of guy who grew up wanting to be a hero. He idolized the hero in every anime he ever watched. However despite his good intentions he can be very full of himself and air headed occasionally. He constantly gets in trouble at school because he stays up late at night watching anime or playing video games. He has no problem approaching people, but also has quite a few issues with boundaries.
Clubs: None. More time to play video games!
Brief Backstory: Grew up completely normal other than his strange obsession with becoming a hero. He works part-time at a fast food restaurant and receives money from his parents for an apartment and food. He almost always runs out of food and begs his parents for more money before the end of the month.
Contract:Raijin
Contracted Beings:
Name: Raijin
Type: Thunder God
Personality: Cocky, arrogant, he constantly berates Yuu for not being manly enough. However, he is actually quite the coward having never been in an actual fight. He believes he is superior to most other contracted beings even though in truth he is a low ranking god. He (like Yuu) loves to eat which causes problems for both of them. The two however are great friends and nothing could ever tear them apart for more than a few minutes. Akihiro loves being in the human world and seeing all the fantastic things humans have come up with since he was first created.
Powers: Quickness of both upper and lower body, a fast metabolism, and boosted resiliency
Fusion: Yuu's clothes and height become Raijin's. His hair becomes cut in the same fashion. In their fused form Yuu gains the ability to shoot electricity from his hands and mastery over katanas. His metabolism however doubles from where it was before meaning that without enough food their energy doesn't last very long.
Summon:"Come on. I haven't got all day" (minus the scar) Raijin is slightly faster than Yuu in his summoned state and can fire bolts of electricity. He can however also levitate to save energy unlike Yuu or when they are fused. He is extremely skilled with a katana and can slice a bullet in half easily. However, due to his nature, he is far more likely to run screaming from the gun than to cut the bullet

So just to clarify, I'm still in this even though my character isn't done right? If there's too many people I have no problem with dropping. I'd rather not just be silent though if I still have my space and don't realize it xD
